Ye, I can agree with that. On a same-ish note, it's hard to find interesting new animes while sifting through all the slop they release. And we should get rid of the 12/24 episode counter. I would love some shows with low episode counts. I have seen quite a few shows where I thought they could have ended it perfectly at the 6th, 7th or 8th episode marker.

Well if you're a good company who keeps their employees happy, no one would leave that early right? These companies are well aware that they treat their employees like shit, it's an assumption that the new employee too will leave early. Whether they have a loyal record or not, it's all the same outcome for toxic companies. Good companies will manage to retain even the less loyal employees in the end. It's all cause and effect ultimately.

Patriarchy is responsible for this, naturally if men aren't doing any house work, they'll have too much free time on their hands. This free time goes into entertainment. Meanwhile women have never been given even 2 minutes to breathe outside of house work, hence NO entertainment market for Women as a whole. Only because women started to enter the workforce we started getting somemedia to consume, let alone BL. Numbers will take a long long time to even match Male market, only way to do this is having all women in the workforce. But it's so far fetched rn.

What are the consequences if I say no besides not getting a raise?

These are some of the questions im kinda leaning towards but either way I think the man getting a date and a raise is a steal of a deal lol

I agree :) I'd usually celebrate it with pretty much 1 person I'd decide to hang out with, my family or alone. For example, we'd go out with that one girl I knew, she'd gift me money, and then we'd simply spend some of it on tasty food in some restaurants lol or several different ones throughout the day. Or when I was a kid, we'd go to my grandparents the next day because March 8 was a holiday and celebrate my birthday there. Anyway, I have specific dishes that I like and can explain in detail, but I usually make them for New Year :) but sometimes for birthday too. For birthday, I'd usually settle for ordering some sushi or maybe visit my favorite supermarket (including the cafe there) and buy something tasty there. Overall, I'd say I just prefer it to be a regular day with unregularly tasty food lol regardless of whether I'm spending it alone or with someone.

I remember Light and L, that's pretty much it character-wise. I guess because Death Note is one of the gateways into anime it is so popular and well-received. I watched it pretty late in my anime journey, that definitely influenced my opinion.

Sadly, that is true, nobody remembers or cares who are the first ones to achieve international greatness in acting, science, literature, or sports, just the ones who are picture perfect of what they made fun of.

Yeah, I believe it is a matter of looking up for stories and you may have something different. Like in Shounen for instance, Dragon Ball and Kimetsu no Yaiba are completely different, one character are constantly getting killed and revived, while the other has impactful deaths that keep hunting throughout the series. In the romance category, we have stories such as Anonymus Noise and Paradise Kiss, where there are toxic relationships, that end in different ways. And even BL, you can't compare Junjou Romantica with Sasaki to Miyano.

Haha, like the Capitol in The Hunger Games; I am currently watching the movies on Netflix, and Suzanne Collins portrayed the stereotypical American who doesn't care about what happens outside their houses. I will never be able to fathom how they blamed video games for school shootings when the supermarkets sell real guns to anyone. Also, it is funny to me when they complain about adult shows, such as Euphoria, and how it is inappropriate for kids; miss, why is your underage child watching an adult show that airs at midnight?

I checked it again, there are some 130 to 195 languages spoken in the Philippines, depending on the method of classification. I learned something today.
There's no way it's over 20,000... That's actually mental to fathom. Makes you wonder which dialects are slowly disappearing to extinction without people realizing. Low key sad to think about that.

I do like manga, but I very rarely read it sadly. I get stuck in the loop where I have to catch up to seasonal showS, or this show is popular, so now, I definitely need to watch it. FOMO I guess. 😆
