I'm more into the genres of drama (like The Leopard or Tokyo Story, not like Toradora or Sangatsu No Lion), action, psychological, historical, mystery.

Hello, I'm just another anime watcher fellow, I'm not a big fan of the medium but that doesnt stop me from enjoying some shows from time to time. After some time of being in the medium and watching by myself the usual classics, I came across certain people who tried to forced me into their taste just because some fictional superiority they have in their minds. This people are well known in the medium as "elitists" or "pseudointellectuals" and you would think that they at least have a bit of analytical judgement over anime but true to be told, most of the animes related with them are a bunch of mediocre to appalling shows with no value after all. There is a brief description below of why I dislike shows revered by certain communities, if you ask me personally I will give you a more profound reasoning.
- NGE is one of the most laughable shows in the medium, some scenes were just totally cringe and the ending of both shows were just a shitstorm into our faces, apparently a bunch of people started to confuse mediocre imagery with actual good writting and we got to this point where certain communities consider it a masterpiece despite the non-stopping flaws, they just choose to overlook at them.
- Made in Abyss S2 isnt a masterpiece, people need to calm down.
- Serial Experiments Lain isnt as bad as other pseudointellectual shows but still is a very average series and that scene with the alien was just disrespectful to the viewers, a 6/10 at max
- Land of the Lustrous is less than mid, some random fans have it in a incredible regard and they are one of the most annoying fans in the community. 4/10
- Welcome to the NHK! isnt deep, they just took the hikkikomori concept and overused it(badly) mixed with some romance and the classical Pixie Dream Girl but only this time with some mental health problems, very weak show and it gets a 3/10.
- Koi Kaze, nothing to say here. Extremely bad and used taboo topics to get appealing with the weirdos but it was still a very basic drama/romance with very low qualities in sound/animation, 1/10.
- Texnolyze was actually decent, it isnt a masterpiece but it can be a decent 6/10 or even a 7/10. A low paced start, some incongruencies with the ending, some weird infatuation of the MC and the robots at the end werent well designed, it feel cheap there.
- FLCL, trash oversexualized show 2/10.
- Eve no Jikan, unoriginal and straight boring 4/10
- The Tatami Galaxy, a comedy about a loser who doesnt take university seriously and repeats a time loop just to get pussy and the girl just falls for him because trashy writting, it cant be more than a 3/10.
- Monster, too many flaws for even considering it a psychological crime drama show, long run and filler like episodes, 3/10
- FMAB, the basic standard of shounen with goodism everywhere and an asspull at the end, at max a 5/10.
- Baccano!, probably it haves one of the worst couples in universal media with some non-linear timeline just for the sake of it, the romance was badly written and the edgy assasins werent helpful to the show neither, mediocre writting after all, at max a 3/10.
- Mononoke, 5/10. Some arcs were very good but the others didnt make the cut, also it gets repetitive, maybe if you choose only the best arcs it could even be a 7.5/10 but that didnt happened.
- Ghibi Films, they are good if you are less than 18 years old, after some point they will start to bore you with the overuse of the same ideas, Mononoke Hime is the one I liked the most but is still a 6/10 at max
- Haibane Renmei, the worst Purgatory/Hell/Heaven inspired show in anime, lets just make a Purgatory anime with SoL elements and religious imagery combined with self-pity, utterly boring melodrama and the pseudointellectuals will do the job for us of calling it the best Purgatory themed work since Dante, if not the best. 1/10
- Paranoia Agent, started quite good but then drifted a lot and became just dull, the ending was mediocre 5/10
- Perfect Blue, I guess it is decent enough but the last persecution scene is kinda weak, specially considering the fat lady is like 85-100kg, also her modus operandi was left unknown, so it is at max a 6/10.
- Sangatsu no Lion, less than average Slice of Life show with excesive focus on shogi and trying to make us sympathize with the MC, a cast of mediocre characters and forgettable production qualities, a 3/10 at max
- Chihayafuru, kinda the same that Sangatsu no Lion, some struggles with mental health besides a secondary love triangle and the usual SoL stuff, bland characters, for sure a life changing anime, it gets a 3/10 at best.
- Oyasumi Punpun, one of the most overpraised mangas but in fact a very mediocre one, Punpun is probably one the most normie mangas right now but pseudointellectuals still think it's a dark and niche manga unknown to the public, besides that the manga haves no qualities except for the drawing, overuse of the usual Asano motiffs, a pathetic subplot with some Cult that was long enough and didnt contribute that much to the plot, when they found Punpun in the last volume, that was a totall asspull and a lot more flaws/mistakes, a very flawed manga which is nowhere near to be a masterpiece, normies and pseudointellectuals need to understand already, representing depression doesnt make a show good and making every character with mental health problems is laughable, unrealistic and pathetic. 3/10
You should avoid people who said their favorite writter is Tolkien, most of them are weirdos overpraising a very mild writter, Tarkovsky was a smart guy but STALKER and Mirror fans are mostly pseudointellectuals who just try hard to give those movies 50 different meanings to feel smart.
