I've been a long time anime fan. I watched the original Ghost in the Shell movie shortly after its western release in the 90s, and have loved anime ever since.
I like most kinds of anime, but I do value story and entertainment above all else. However, I do prefer anime that are lighthearted with humour, or clever plots. Feel free to recommend something you enjoy in the comments below.
I usually only watch the English dub of anime, but I will watch the Japanese dub with subs if a popular show doesn't seem like it'll get localized.
I'm also a long time gamer and have a strong affection for RPGs, Persona 4 & 5, Borderlands 2 + 3, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Baldur's Gate 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition being some of my favourites. Feel free to add me as a friend on PSN.
In terms of music I like most things, but do have a nostalgic sweet spot for most 80s, 90s rock. However, for me my all time love will always be Nirvana, Metallica and Rammstein (controversy aside I still like the music.)

Yours is also nice. :) That's right, the surreal and slice of life then dark feels between them are really similar XD
Deadman Wonderland... I didn't really enjoy the anime (mostly because I kind of hate the MC, Ganta) but I love the concept of the prison and all, it's pretty cruel. Maybe I'll check the manga sometime, be sure to tell me how is it if you'll start before me (;
