When it comes to being an ecchi, does this anime bring anything new to the table? Well… kind of. This isn’t your average slice-of-life “oops, I walked into the bathroom without knocking and now the heroine’s gonna screech like a banshee and kick me in the nuts” type of story. Takamine-san has a power—she can rewind time by taking off her underwear. Weird? ... Absolutely. But it’s an ecchi anime—what the hell did you expect?

The author introduces this bizarre mechanic but doesn’t really use it for anything remotely clever or innovative. The entire plot boils down to the MC being Takamine’s literal lapdog. Yep, that’s it. Just him putting up with her constant shenanigans.

“But why the hell would he choose to be her lapdog?” you might ask. Well,because she threatens him with a fucking FAKE RAPE ACCUSATION. We’ve officially hit a new level of the “smug teaser” heroine trope. Think Takagi-san was too smug? Nagatoro too annoying? Uzaki-chan too bratty? Brother, you haven’t seen shit until you meet Takamine-san.

Let’s talk characters. Takamine is not a good person by any stretch of the imagination. She’s manipulative and cruel, constantly abusing her power to bend the world to her will. In summary, she’s a bitch—and not even the fun kind. Her entire personality revolves around being hot and fuckable. She teases, she seduces, and she floods everyone’s minds with lewd thoughts. That’s it. That’s her depth.

Then there’s the MC, Shirota. Take every ecchi protagonist you’ve ever seen—combine the worst traits from all of them—and crank it up to a thousand. That’s Shirota. A weak, whiny little bitch with a voice that sounds like someone’s crushing his Adam’s apple every time he speaks. He’s easily one of the most punchable MCs in recent anime memory. Kazuya from KanoKari looks like fucking Johan Liebert compared to this guy.

Now, about the ecchi content—it’s just plain boring. Standard panty and tit shots, nothing new. Even the uncensored version didn’t do shit. No blood rush. No heat. No pulse. No ragged breath. And this willy? Definitely not wonking. While other ecchi shows will pour their entire budget into crafting curvy, visually enticing fan service, this show feels like it’s just going through the motions. Honestly, they should’ve named it “Please DON’T Put It On, Takamine-san” or “Please Take It All Off, Takamine-san” because Takamine getting stripped every episode would’ve been a better showcase of ecchi than whatever half-assed effort the show currently makes.

Animation? Let’s just say it’s inconsistent at best. One second it looks decent, and the next you’re staring at a face where the mouth is on the damn nose. Asymmetrical faces, janky movement, and a laundry list of drawing errors—just a mess. Overall? Below average.

Now, here’s where the show doesbsurprise: the music. The opening theme absolutely slaps. I didn’t expect a low-effort ecchi dumpster fire like this to drop such a banger. Props to the singer—they were probably the only person in the production who gave a shit. They poured their soul into that track, and honestly, it’s the only thing that stood out as genuinely great.

Overall,Takamine-san is one hell of a strange ride. On one hand, it’s got a unique premise with the whole "rewind time by removing underwear" gimmick—something you don’t see every day, even in the ecchi genre. On the other hand, it squanders that uniqueness on a one-note plot, a toxic-as-hell heroine, and an MC who might as well be a walking doormat with a voicebox.
The art direction is shaky, the fanservice is uninspired, and the power dynamic is so lopsided it might trigger actual psychological recoil. Yet, for all its flaws, there’s an odd appeal to it. Maybe it’s the absurdity. Maybe it’s the unapologetic degeneracy. Or maybe it’s just watching the chaos unfold like a flaming dumpster on wheels.
This show will absolutely please a certain type of viewer—specifically, subby weebs with a humiliating kink. If you're into getting stepped on emotionally, Takamine is basically your dream domme. But if you're a dom-type weeb? Avoid this show like the plague unless you want steam pouring out of your ears and a deep urge to throw your screen across the room.
So yeah, it’s not quite “watch this masterpiece” but it’s also not “burn it with fire.” It exists in that weird grey zone of guilty pleasures, cursed curiosities, and “what the actual fuck did I just watch?”. Proceed at your own risk.

HAITTE KUDASAI, TAKAMINE-SAN – FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW

I approached this series with little expectation, intrigued solely by its absurd concept: a girl rewinding time by removing her underwear. It’s bold, yes — but can that premise carry a story for twelve episodes?

[Story]
Shirota is a socially invisible student whose life changes when he sees Takamine, the school's perfect and feared student council president, changing her underwear. She reveals her secret ability: “Eternal Virgin Road” — by removing her underwear, she can rewind time. But there’s a catch: the underwear disappears after each use. Her solution? Blackmail Shirota into being her personal wardrobe assistant.

What follows is a power-imbalanced ... relationship that leans more toward manipulation than romance. Each episode sticks to a formula: she rewinds time, he helps, repeat. While the absurdity is intriguing at first, it quickly becomes predictable and hollow. There are hints that Takamine may have a deeper reason for keeping Shirota close, but nothing is explored beyond surface-level antics.

[Characters]
Shirota is intentionally bland, designed to be passive and easily manipulated. That works narratively, but it also makes him difficult to connect with. Takamine dominates every scene — clever, controlling, seductive, and cruel. The dynamic between them isn’t playful or romantic; it’s coercive and one-sided.

Side characters barely exist. Most students are faceless silhouettes in the background. There's no broader school setting or meaningful social context, making the world feel empty and artificial.

[Animation]
LIDENFILMS gives most of its animation budget to fan-service scenes. Takamine's design is inconsistent, especially her face — proportions vary scene to scene. The time-rewind sequence is long, repetitive, and reused across episodes with minimal variation.

Backgrounds lack texture and life. Everyday motion is stiff, especially outside of ecchi moments. Clothing physics and character movement are underwhelming, which hurts the show’s already narrow visual appeal.

[Sound]
Takamine’s voice actress delivers confidence and smugness effectively, but falters in emotional range. Shirota's voice fits his passive demeanor but lacks comedic timing. The OP is on-brand for ecchi, but completely forgettable. The ED is quieter, but equally bland.

Background music loops too often and fails to enhance any scene. Sound effects during rewind or ecchi moments feel disconnected — exaggerated to the point of breaking immersion.

[Enjoyment]
If you’re watching for fetish-based comedy and manipulation-driven ecchi setups, this show might briefly satisfy. But if you want humor, chemistry, or any form of development, you’ll burn out quickly. By episode three, I felt like I was watching out of obligation, not interest.

Takamine-san has a ridiculous and oddly promising premise, but wastes it. The show never expands beyond its initial idea. Characters are static, animation is weak, and the story repeats itself without escalation or growth. It flirts with themes of control and dominance but never explores them meaningfully.

This isn’t a romantic comedy — it’s a loop of fan-service and shallow tension that goes nowhere.

Anime overall is pretty much exactly as you can imagine, brother meets a girl he likes and they get freaky together. Definitely think the moments with Shiroto (MC) and Takamine (Love) are very cute. I was taken by surprise for a moment with in EP 1 when Takamine got Shiroto in a position where he almost caught a case and was gonna be falsely accused for SA, which made made me think (Ah shii-- she's one of those), but she fixes that "mistake" and as you keep watching, more positive personality shows.
On the other hand, it is ecchi and in this anime bare ... uncensored ass and jiggly titties pop up on the screen, so you pretty much get a lot of that if thats what you come for. Other than that the anime is pretty good

Listen up, fellas, this is peak.

Most ecchi shows are mediocre, but occasionally you find a gem.
This anime is extremely straightforward. You know what you're signing up for before even reading the plot. If you don't like gooner degeneracy, then this show is clearly not for you.

We got the bread and butter self-insert setup: Loser, unpopular guy with average looks at best, somehow gets romantically involved with the extremely hot popular girl that everyone in the school wants to be with.
Except this time, the girl is a sadistic exhibitionist and blackmails the MC. This is a straight up femdom anime.

She has the power to undo time ... by stripping off one of her lingerie, and the only way people can remember anything is if they've seen her bare breasts. But at the cost of great power comes a great cost. The lingerie she removes permanently disappears every time she does it. To constantly abuse her powers, she needs to be able to reload her double-barreled weapon at any time, anywhere.
She forces our main lead to become her walking closet, whose sole purpose is to carry around a bag filled with her underwear and be ready at any time to tactically slip on her a new pair. Poor bastard.

Situations are so ridiculous and outlandish that they're funny and feel like they came straight out of an adult movie plotline. Everyone around them is as blind as a bat.

But this show isn't just ecchi degeneracy. It has the romance tag, and it upholds that. Through her sadistic toying, her flustered emotions occasionally slip through when the MC does or says something sweet to her. But obviously, he's completely oblivious to a woman's advances, just like everyone watching this show. You get that good feeling of seeing adorable reactions from one character while the other is unaware, the stuff that makes me enjoy romance shows so much. Other cuties show up, but worry not, this isn't tagged as a harem or love polygon so there's no childhood friend NTR fuckery. Romantic progress is real, unlike other shows that are the real femdom anime cause they blue ball the viewer with bait that never goes anywhere after investing 5-10h of binge watching (or if you're a real masochist, 3-6 months airing).

What's more is that the second ED is sung by the VA for Shirogane from Love is War, and one of the cuties that shows up is voiced by the VA for Nagatoro.

An absolute banger hidden gem, and I really hope a sequel gets adapted.

Before the 12-episode season is even concluded, Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san has already demonstrated that it will be yet another lowbrow ecchi riddled with issues. That’s not to say that I have a problem with lowbrow ecchi anime in general, as a well-executed one can provide some genuine fun on top of hot scenes. However, Takamine-san has two main issues that are simply too glaring to justify any better of a rating.

Firstly, what is this plot? Not the core concept of “girl who can rewind time by changing her underwear”, but the fact that this show 1. doesn’t do nearly as much with such a bizarre ... and funny premise as it could, and 2. seems to be trying to force a “wholesome” romance between two of the least likable MCs I’ve seen in recent memory. Shirota is even more of a spineless, pathetic loser than the wimpiest romance MC you can imagine, and Takamine is an uptight, manipulative bitch whose only redeeming quality is being hot and who threatens Shirota with a false rape accusation (!!!) to get him to be her servant. And yet, somehow, this anime expects us to believe that these two are forming a genuine, wholesome, and non-abusive relationship. These kinds of shows require some suspension of disbelief, of course, but that is an extremely hard sell.

Secondly, the animation and visuals leave a lot to be desired, to say the least. Sometimes it looks okay, but if you’re paying any attention several quality control issues and inconsistencies will jump out each episode, from weird faces, to janky or stiff movement, to blatant animation errors. There are also a lot of shots where the proportions of the characters (especially Takamine) look very odd, but in fairness that may just be following the manga’s artistic choices. A show that’s intended to be mindless eye candy needs to at least get the “eye candy” part right.

If it somehow manages to make itself more compelling in the next few episodes I will gladly revise my review, but I doubt that will happen. In the meantime, though, this is an anime you shouldn't feel bad about skipping.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san — If BDSM was ever a genre, this show would fit perfectly by any stretch of the measure.

Look, I think that we could afford at least a moment or two exposing the degeneracy within us to hit some nut, furnish some sea cucumber juice, or by whatever means, extract the sauce within us so sticky and digestible, so palpable that jerking off seems like the kind of habit that we as anime weebs like to frown upon ourselves to show that we embrace being degenerates for better or for worse. However, like all things in life, where there's the good ... in one, there's always the bad in the other, which is where we arrive with mangaka Yuichi Hiiragi's Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san a.k.a Please Put Them On, Takamine-san: a rom-com about how science fiction comes into play of a relationship that need not be so degrading in the first place, that, however, plays for the obsession of it, while harvesting genuine love from within...?

What happens when you pair the average Joe against the Madonna that everyone idolizes, yet has this sense of aura that somehow disguises who she really is to the absence of anyone? You'll get Koushi Shirota, who is the unappealing young man with seemingly no attributes whatsoever, just living out the school life as he sees fit and going along with the typical route of everyday mundaneness, who, out of pure coincidence, sees a stellar young woman taking off her underwear (be it her bra or panties) and witnesses time reversed back to the critical moments of perfection. That would be his school's Madonna and the dignified Student Council president of Takane Takamine, always the perfectionist in her life who cares about nothing other than the people around her witnessing the 100% completionist perfectionism of a young lady of her stature. The irony of the fact is that ONLY Shirota knows what's going on with Takamine's rather bizarre tactics, and to make matters worse, it leaves her completely vulnerable on the inside, like literally wearing a birthday suit on top of her clothes. Of course, Shirota, only being the wise one in this instance, attempts to circumvent this "power" of Takamine's, though he's soon met by the facade that attempts to blackmail him for sexual assault, which he eventually becomes her walking lapdog of a "closet" to refurbish her with whatever article of underwear Takamine will be trading for to turn back time with her so-called "Eternal Virgin Road" magic power.

For a wacky premise of this sort, a rom-com — I'll admit this is one, but it panders to quite the audience that, for better or worse, could turn into a full-on Hentai at this point (see Winter 2024's Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete a.k.a Gushing over Magical Girls, which mangaka Akihiro Ononaka does things A LOT better), which I'm just purely shocked at in many ways, if there ever were a fair few sauces to count about.

For one, I don't know if you're thinking heads with me, but Koushi Shirota is just basically the mangaka's way of saying that "I want to be a decent person, if not held by bondage and domineered by the girl that secretly loves me since my childhood days, being as sadistic and masochistic as possible to derive love pangs from emotional pain." Because, while the childhood puppy love of yesteryear has gone by, it's clear that Takamine has targeted him in more ways than one, if not intentionally at best for the naive boy to see through her real desires of getting together, though in a rather uncomfortable, fetish-sized way possible. There's nothing going for Shirota from the outset as a typical student in the sea of standouts, though with how Yuichi Hiiragi has painted him in a negative light to receive Takamine's "toxic" love through subterfuge and manipulation, this is a relationship that typically would not end well with a lose-lose probability of gaslighting, but yet, it somehow "works" to give the rather wrong idea that "it's all in the head/mind" of a kinky partnership that only benefits one or the other.

As for Takamine herself, I can see the appeal of the Student Council president being the perfect girl for any series in general...again, painted in quite the snarky mind of the mangaka himself. The beauty and splendour that Takamine's "Ojou-sama" presence holds for everyone is foretelling, and aside from the BDSM side of her, I can relate to her very much as a perfectionist personality through and through. This, coupled with her Eternal Virgin Road power, is quite the sci-fi plot that could have been better implemented and experimented with, but it always just ends up being used for the "plot" of sexual innuendos all around. To be fair, her coercing Shirota in her own sexually fantastical ways may not sound like an order but more of a "Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san a.k.a Teasing Master Takagi-san" kind of way that adds to the appeal of girls loving to see their boy partners all flustered out of embarrassment, but I digress for someone who derives amusement out of the same suffering.

At least the OTHER character of note is Ellie Evergreen, and despite being Shirota's childhood friend also, who broke up going to different schools and ends up being in the same cram school as him, she is quite the Yuri with a lesbian feel, with an actual girlfriend in tow. She may look like a rival to Takamine given her voluptuous body, but her character is simple to work around, being nothing more than just an affectionate tease for Takamine in vouching for her secret crush on Shirota. And out of the 3 prominent characters, Eri is the one that most people would vibe with, being the ACTUAL interesting character of note due to her eccentric personality.

Alas, what happens from here on out is quite the tragedy of a less-than-stellar adaptation of an ecchi manga that turns out to be the superior version against the anime. I had doubts going into the show with Liden Films and in-house director Tomoe Makino, whose time at the studio hasn't been flourishing all that well, as compared to being at Felix Film and helming both seasons of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (of which Season 2 is airing alongside this season). Sure, she could handle shows that don't need much flair, but Takamine-san is clearly an adaptation that needs a lot (and I mean A LOT) of effort to punch in the ecchi notes towards the "I can't believe this is not Hentai" levels of nuance, which this adaptation simply doesn't cut the manga better in every sense of the word. The most annoying and egregious part of them all is the sci-fi interpretation of Eternal Virgin Road, which in its full premise takes up almost a minute or two of the total runtime, which, yes, needs its emphasis, but it's done to an excessive point that just diminishes the value of the show over time. Needless to say, the rather subpar animation from Liden Films does not help much to satiate the "Mahou Shoujo Akogarete" feeling that the anime could have benefitted from by amping up what sells the source material in the first place: the close-to-Hentai-level art of "magnificence." Also, please don't sell Hentai shows to Crunchyroll; they'll abuse the hell out of any level of censorship possible.

The only appeal I've found of this show is in its OP, and honestly, renowned artist Masami Okui feat. Bonjour Suzuki's vocals just slap as a sexual innuendo banger of an OP song. And while Makoto Furukawa's ED is every bit decent as it comes, his high-upbeat vocals give it range for a song that's otherwise forgettable at best.

If you know, you know, and I believe that we're of one sound mind that Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san a.k.a Please Put Them On, Takamine-san could be an ecchi show that has a ridiculous premise to boot and make it work. But yet, by the "grace" of the mangaka Yuichi Hiiragi himself, it exposes quite the fetish story that just disregards any semblance of BDSM, using themes for the sake of fanservice "plot" and actually never going anywhere with the initial idea.

Just go and read the manga; the anime is a complete waste of time with ecchi notes that just don't cut the original source material any better.

This anime is actually pretty fun, and I don’t understand all the hate.
Sure, the animation isn’t top-tier, and let’s be honest — most of the visual effort went into animating Takane’s boobs. But despite that, I found the show genuinely engaging. It keeps you watching, always ending episodes on cliffhangers — kind of like Turkish dramas (P.S. those always cut off right at the most exciting part).
I haven’t watched a lot of ecchi, but this was the first time I saw actual relationship development, main character growth, and a hint of a decent plot — so I really enjoyed it.
If you're not too picky about ... visuals and enjoy a fast-paced, dramatic plot with a lot of absurdity, you’ll probably enjoy this.

It's 2025 and here I am sitting and wondering when when we'll get to see a show about clothes removing as part of its plot. I don't mean it just as part of a story gimmick like High School DxD but an actual plot device to jump start the story. Well, Please Put Them On, Takamine-san is just the answer.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san is a peculiar case for an ecchi rom-com. It's known for being self aware of both its plot and main female protagonist. Title character Takane Takamine is protrayed as the flawless queen bee, an alluring beauty that catches the eye of ... anyone around her. Her unique ability to rewind time through removing her clothing plays a key role that connects herself to the main male protagonist Koushi Shirota.

The plot essentially builds the relationships through their bizarre chance encounter. After being seen removing her underwear in class, Takane wastes no time to confont Shirota. This more or less ends up being a blackmail as Shirota is forced to help her. In essence, he becomes her manservant without the public's knowledge. As controversial as that sounds, they appear to hide it very well and avoids public himilation. Takane has a reputation so she must always be on her guard. Yet, her own fliritous personality is an obstacle. She is her own worst enemy through the countless teasing she inflicts on Shirota. The latter lives everyday like a test to see if he can pass with flying colors. While it started from being blackmailed, he does geninuely want to protect Takamine over time and the two become trustworthy friends, or perhaps something more?

It's a question we should ask ourselves. Takamine is after all a queen bee while Shirota is just ordinary guy with no special features. The anime protrays Shirota as having perverted fantasies about Takamine often and who can blame him. It's natural for a young healthy guy of his age to fantasize about pretty girls. Takamine is fully aware of this and she weaponizes herself to occasionally win him through lust. However, their relationship at best is protrayed as a budding duo connected through an unusual circumstance. They're not officially a couple although being seeing together so often later in the show makes other characters wonder. The most prominent among these is Shirota's childhood friend Ellie. Her free spirited yet observant nature easily allows her to realize that Takamine is falling for Shirota. Furthermore, Ellie's presence in their lives brings out the jealous side of Takamine. While this show doesn't turn into a dramatic love triangle, it does show that Takamine is willing to safeguard what she considers hers. In this case, she sees Shirota as her property, friend, and partner in crime.

Honestly, the main star and selling point of this show is Takamine herself. Underneath all that perfect goodness, she's a flawed character. If you notice carefully, she hardly has any friends at all, besides Shirota. Even after meeting Ellie, it took several episodes for her to open up to her. Shirota also finds himself falling for Takamine although the anime doesn't make it entirely clear if it's actual love. He's got nothing to lose really but the anime doesn't pull the plug on the two. There's also obvious character connection through some background storytelling told through flashbacks. Takamine's first encounter with Shirota wasn't even in the first episode. Nonetheless, you'll really have to judge yourself on how to grade their relationship. This anime is self aware from day one but has never been sure to finally get the two together as a couple.

It's a show loaded with fan service so just but default, there's a lot of suggestive scenes. I highly suggest watching the uncensored version to avoid the memes. This anime itself is already meme worthy enough thanks to the countless amount of teasing and daydream fantasies. Still, Takamine is decorated with that sexy look you'd expect from this type of show. Long hair, perfect body curves, and colorful face of expressions are just some of her features. While she doesn't show it to the public often, her fliritous personality always causes Shirota to have the most raunchy daydreams possible. You can't help but notice just how self aware this anime is. It knew what it wanted to show the audience from the very first episode.

And in a nutshell, you can watch this anime and enjoy the naughty goodness. It has a ridiculous plot that takes itself somewhat seriously but not enough as a satire. In today's industry, there's all types of anime that weaponizes its fan service. This anime just happens to use it as part of its plot and Shirota is in the middle of it.

I like at least a *little* plot in my anime. A little character development. A hook to keep me interested. The synopsis, probably the most idiotic I've ever seen, is that when she removes any part of her underwear she time-travels. Gets a 98 on a test? Time travels and fixes it. You know, the really important stuff. She basically blackmails this kid into being her "closet", meaning he has to constantly replace her underwear, usually in the middle of a crowded room. Without anyone noticing. Like in the literal middle of a class. So many points of this anime are just beyond idiotic. The ... animation is decent, the voice acting decent. Everything else is a waste of pixels. I like ecchi anime as much as the next guy, but I can barely tolerate this dumpster fire. Interspecies Reviewers was fun - and I'd watch that without subs or dubs over having to put up with this.

I like a good laugh - and this is supposed to be a comedy. Chainsaw Man has more laughs. This? Maybe funny if you're a 13 year old who's scared of girls.

I don't normally go here, but I always like to poke about the wilder offerings from time to time to see if there's anything worth watching. This one, for me, was. The characters were likeable and easy to root for. The situation was kind of silly and I liked the absurdity of the closet scheme and the situations that arose from it. Both the leads seemed to mean well for the most part and I think, for me, that is key in any sexy romp. If I can't root for the couple eventually getting together, then I just nope on out even when everyone's clothes ... stay on.

My biggest qualms with the series was that the virgin road animation was over-used. The music would have been enough after seeing the animation a few times to indicate the magic happening. Sometimes the absurdity, while I did like it usually, crossed into being too absurd for my tastes from time to time. I was never bored, but there were moments that seemed slow or overdone, but nothing so bad that I was unwilling to finish the anime.

I'll definitely watch more of it if we get a season two. It was an interesting exploration into a genre that normally either squicks or bores me.

If you're looking for a kind of cute hentai then this one is definitely cute (which is part of why I liked it). If you don't like a cuteness to your hentai, then the characters might frustrate you.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san is one of the 3 ecchi shows this season, and also the only one I'll make a review for since it's the only one that feels most like it's trying to be a show and not just masturbation material.

It's about our loser MC, Shirota who for some reason doesn't get affected by Takamine's power that let's her rewind time by taking off her underwear. She uses this to her advantage and makes him into her "closet", basically a puppy dog that follows her around and puts her underwear on her, that's it. That's the entire plot.

This feels like one ... of those anime that has an interesting idea, but they do almost nothing with it. They do not really take advantage of it being an ecchi, the few scenes we do get with boobies and ass cheeks are just brief and there's hardly any fetish play or something to make it stand out from the other ecchi anime out there. If you want to make a borderline hentai show, go all out, don't just make a very dull romcom with some ecchi sprinkled in. I think the erotic part is supposed to be him putting her underwear on her, but once you do it so many times it, the audience will get desensitized to it, especially when the MC is too much of a pussy to take a peek and the scene just ends.

Speaking of the MC, Shirota is a terrible character. It's like they took the average loser protagonist and somehow made him 100 times more pathetic. Not to mention Takamine is just a bitch with no redeeming qualities other than being hot, the way she gets Shirota to become her closet is by staging a rape scene and only turning back time if Shirota agrees to it. I don't care how much you try to make me care for her in the later episodes, that's something that you can't just forget.

I get some people reading this might be like "dude, it's just a gooner anime, don't take it so seriously" but they are trying to make the audience care about this relationship between this massive bitch and for lack of better words, her slave. Just watch Makina is a sex bot or Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World if you want to get your rocks off this season, they also have terrible plots and characters, but what they lack in story they make up for in fanservice.

As the one who read the manga of this show I was exited to see it, especially because of the juicy 1st episode. Those who watch know about what I am talking about. But the way they implemented 2 crucial things kind of ruined it for me. I will explained why later in review.

Animation and sound: Pretty standard, the animation was fluent during the entire time and music was ok. Nothing else to add for this part.

Characters: Takamine is an interesting one, as the entire story revolves around her power and how she uses it to get what she wants. If you are into yandere ... girls with superior complex you will enjoy her character. MC is your standard weak nobody who is not only downright self critical to the point he as well do not exist for others - he is also so dense that black hole wish it was denser than that. The rest of the characters are either too unimportant or do not exist as well. Only development that is happening in the show is MC Kurota slowly getting more confidence but it is a pain until he gets there.

Story: The story is quite simple - it is about Kurota becoming Takamine's 'follower' and doing her bidding while growing slowly as a character trough various situations. Now, the story in manga is great because of 2 reasons: no censorship and no stupid CGI butterfly every time she uses her power. The anime story really does not do it justice as in manga it only starts to get better after where last episode left us. If they decided to spend less time on long CGI scenes and do more to showcase the growth between them then the story would have been better. Like this is it your standard weak MC and dominating FMC show. TO be fair, manga is still not done and we do not have full grasp on how she has the power she posses and what is her ultimate goal, whatever author decides to do for the ending will make it or break it. But that is for the future to decide.

Overall score: 6 (for anime). It was an ok show, and if not for the stupid censorship that caused the delays and CGI butterfly it would have been solid 7 out of 10 (I rate it 7 for myself as I liked the manga and at least they were mostly faithful to it).

If you are interested in seeing some dominatrix ecchi then give it a go, otherwise it's better to check some other shows. As for the manga - go ahead and give it a read, no censorship + awesome art = epic win.

What frustrates me about this show is that it doesn't do much with its ridiculous, trashy premise.

Yes, there's nudity from time to time and even a couple of suggestive/erotic moments that caught me off guard but by the end, the gimmick ended up being a distraction for what the show actually was: another forgettable anime romance.

The show is still pleasant enough in its own right. Stripped of its sexually inappropriate moments, there's a comforting vibe that this show exudes that I believe stems from it's uncomplicated, undemanding narrative and its likable, albeit clichéd protagonists.

Though I didn't hate sitting through it, this show is an easy ... skip. It's disappointing as an ecchi and unremarkable as a romance.

Firstly, Haitenai Kudasai Takamine-san is an ecchi series, so don’t expect a deep, moving story or well-developed characters. What you will find, however, are highly attractive female characters, which are the main draw of the show.

The story follows a high school boy who accidentally sees the student council president, Takamine-san, changing. Takamine is the perfect student: she always gets top grades (never below a 98) and is adored by everyone. But she hides a secret: every time she removes a piece of her underwear, she can alter a past event. For instance, if she scored a 98 on a test, by taking off a piece ... of clothing, she can change it to a 100. Having witnessed her changing, the protagonist becomes aware of every instance she uses this power. Taking advantage of this, Takamine turns him into her "human wardrobe," tasking him with storing her underwear and helping her put it on each time she takes it off.

As the synopsis suggests, this series doesn’t aim to impress with its narrative or characters. The sole reason to watch it is for the ecchi scenes, which are clearly the author’s main focus. The characters are flat and underdeveloped, particularly the female ones, though the protagonist isn’t much better, embodying the typical trope of the virgin guy who somehow attracts the most desirable girl. The story itself is weak, offering nothing new or engaging, and the comedy feels repetitive and uninspired.

Despite these shortcomings, the series delivers what it sets out to do. If you’re looking for something light and uncomplicated with a focus on ecchi scenes, Haitenai Kudasai, Takamine-san is a decent pick.

this is just typical ecchi series with the sprinkle of fanservice here and there ! although there is a theme of romance but honestly it was so frustrating just because of the first episode! something happens which is so unacceptable for me that the whole series felt meaningless, if the first episode played any different, this series could've been nice and kinda normal side of things but it is what it is, the animation and songs are just barely average, nothing too good and nothing bad ! and in the name of fanservice, i watched it until the end and from the ending i believe ... there may be second season ~! as for the fanservice, they are okay ! nothing too good and nothing too bad! the plot shows one animation which is just repeat and playing over and over again which kinda bothered me !

I will keep it simple, 'It has a story, but the eechi part is not good', yes it is an eechi anime, and yes that should be the focal point here, but the story is actually interesting, the drama is definitely there, if someone wants drama and eechi then this is their pic, I know a lot of the viewers hate the female lead, and it is reasonable, she can be a bit handful, but in real life you won't get a loving wifu so touch some grass, in the story they actually give a legitimate reason for why she loves our male lead(something rare ... in romcoms) and don't worry she is not some loose woman(some guys I had a conversation with about the anime thought that the female lead is like that girl from 'the experienced you and the inexperienced me' don't worry she is not a S.L.U.T) I am a guy and I am amazed myself, guys watch eechi anime, want a voluptuous woman but don't want her to have past experiences as well, irony bro, anyway those are my personal opinion, anyways, the story is not dragging, every episode has something new, but yes, you might hate the female lead, I gave it a 7 for an eechi anime, you can't expect masterpiece from an eechi anime
