The second season of Diary of a Pharmacist continues to impress with its heartfelt storytelling and character development. Maomao remains the perfect protagonist — intelligent, caring, and refreshingly real. The show balances the daily challenges of pharmacy life with emotional moments and subtle humor, making it both educational and engaging. The pacing is smooth, and the interactions between characters feel natural, adding depth to the narrative.
Compared to the first season, the second expands on Maomao’s personal growth and her relationships, which keeps the story fresh and interesting. Alongside Frieren, who also remains one of the best female characters in recent anime, Maomao shines as a

This anime reaches into the depths of a fantasy.
Here are a bunch of characters (people) who presumably live monotonous lower middle class lives, and they're all happy. Everyone supports and respects each other. This anime touches upon the fantasy of giving up busy, complex, isolated life for a simpler and supportive environment. It takes a unparalleled level of sublimity to smile to the 10,000th customer. "look how life can be if you choose to be happy; for yourself, and for those around you".

Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
Frieren isn’t just about the bonds between people — it’s about connections in a broader sense. The kind that bloom in silence, in small gestures, in time quietly shared. It could have fallen into common clichés, but it didn’t. It chose the harder path: telling the story of ...

An anime about a beast tamer that gets kicked out of the hero's party for apparently being useless from the hero's party perspective, and him going off adventuring alone and meeting different "beasts" that he tames...
So yea... beasts... if beasts were humans with a few animal features, then oh man, a lot of people are into "beasts" these days, huh?
This anime is not an isekai, but if it was, I would consider it a thrash isekai. It is just pure fantasy, but not a really well done one imho.

This isn't a typical romance anime, but not being typical doesn't automatically makes it better. Although the anime comes under the genre of "romance", I initially found it to be the most boring plot of the show. By boring I don't mean it is exactly poorly-written; however, the whole thing seemed to be run by lust. Personally not my taste. For Yukira, the motivation is lust as well as a certain "obsession" with George, this puts a great power imbalance between the couple, rendering the relationship toxic. As for George, it isn't clear what drives him to date her, maybe it is that he could

Okay, after the first season, I really hoped for something great or a more brain-damaging arc. Where is the war? Where is the rizz to battle and the determination to win? It's all, somehow, including the Jack the Ripper part, the James Bond part, and the Dark Knight part. I totally didn't understand why and how the MP fell for Moriarty's trap, and even idolized him. Anyone with an insane mind and justice personality will oppose Moriarty without any hesitation. In fact, Moriarty didn't even need to manipulate him.
I am not opposing Moriarty, I love his character. I don't really feel the story anymore ...

7 without taking in consideration the filler, if I do it, this is a 4 (the filler is so ass, long and horribly placed).
Watching it skiping filler it's worth enough because of the OST, OPs and EDs in my opinion.
I have to fill this for submiting the somehow (I just wanted to clarify my grade lol), so, let's give some appreciation to how peak Ulquiorra is (really good design, Lucifer's references, good character development and idea, has chemistry with other characters, good presence around the whole arc, good battle, really good musical theme) and if I feel like it, i'll do a proper review ...

IT'S REALLY HARD TO DISLIKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS, IT'S PURE GOLD ALL AROUND
I think the first thing you need to know is that there’s A LOT of CONTENT in every single section possible. You’ll probably think they overstuffed the episode or stretched it unnecessarily, but it’s the EXACT OPPOSITE. Every damn scene is crafted properly to be funny, entertaining, and even memorable—you’ll definitely remember a bunch of them once the episode is over. And that’s one of the things I love most when watching anime. So, keep this in mind: you’ll feel the love they poured into making this project.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a rare kind of anime—quietly profound, emotionally resonant, and unafraid to embrace stillness in a medium often defined by fast-paced spectacle. Adapted from the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, the anime explores a world after the grand adventure, offering a beautifully melancholic meditation on grief, time, and human connection.
A Story About What Comes After
Instead of telling a traditional “defeat the demon king” narrative, Frieren begins after that story has ended. The legendary party disbands, and Frieren, the elf mage who barely ages, sets off on her own again—until decades later, when the death of a companion shakes her. ...

The premise of the plot could be worse, with an excellent manhwa template. We certainly wouldn't have gotten a second Solo Leveling here, but we also shouldn't have gotten such substandard content.
They cut corners left, right and centre here. Instead of showing us the plot, they rely on character exposition while we're really just watching a PowerPoint presentation with moving mouths.
The graphic style isn't bad, but the animation is even worse. It looks like they released the raw version of the anime that still needs to be animated.
In addition, the story seems to have suffered from the budget.

I enjoyed 'Magnetic Rose' very much. The concept was interesting and the characters were easy to understand. Really enjoyed the soundtrack on this one. I'm rating it an 8/10 due to this short story alone.
'Stink Bomb' was alright. I enjoyed how bouncy the soundtrack was. It was nothing like I was expecting. Great short story. If I were rating this individually instead of all three at once, it would be a 7/10.

Fun fact: It was written before Demon slayer.
It is a very beautiful anime and the thing I found the most interesting was the storytelling. Side characters are interesting and are displayed repeatedly and developed really well. The way they showed the timeskip and still fill the empty holes of past was really interesting. I would recommend watching it as a third person and linking things as that would be really interesting and u will begin to know more about author's perspective of different human values and don't give it a first person perspective as I know many ppl who quit the anime at the first ...

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything from an anime with this title. I thought I’d give it a 5/10 at best, but I was so pleasantly surprised.
The writing honestly felt very chaotic at first. Mizuho being an alien sounded so strange, then Kei’s illness ?? That was a lot, especially for an anime I thought was just an icky romance between a teacher and her student. At least, this strange illness makes Kei an 18 years old but it felt kinda forced just to make this relationship legal. 8/10- Quintessential shojo anime.
Pretty much everything has already been said about Lovely Complex. Most of it is true, it is a genre defining shojo story. Albeit it also has its flaws.
The author has crafted something really genuine here. Having a reverse height couple, something rare in real life, works wonders for the plot. I can't really emphasise how much I loved this. I have always loved when love stories are written with people or couples you don't see that often in real life.

I can imagine why this story made waves when it released.
“Akatsuki no Yona”, is the kind of anime which is legitimately on the verge of being just okay, and amazingly good. You've got great characters, with amazing personalities. A fresh villain which doesn't do things by the brutal, the obvious, the horrible. He manipulates with love, with giving to the people, with kickstarting economies, and actually is trying to make the surroundings a better place.
It is that, though, a revenge story. About taking back what belongs to the heroes, but with the world around in mind. It's about a little princess, Yona. A ...

It really goes to show you can write a popular manga without knowing your foot from your ass. This is so ahistorical, I'm torn whether it came from the mind of a kindergartner or someone who actually just hates history. The dialogue is riddled with nonsensical tropes and fake deep crap; the world building tore down the backdrop of history and stood up a couple of punching bags with the word "CHURCH" on them; the characters are mostly one dimensional; the characters are a different height every other cut.
Watch this if you're completely clueless and enjoy rallying against enemies that never existed. Rah rah heliocentrism ...

Yeah another anime that has great first 2-3 ep and just falls. This anime is another that has unique relationships and settings but they just keep fail to keep making them interesting. Repeats the same humor over and over. creates random conflict that is very unrealistic and out of pocket. The way they try to keep interest is by adding new characters that tries to interrupt their relationship. It's honestly not bad but not good either and is simply just boring. Another factor why these romcoms are boring is because of lack in character of the main character. There's nothing special about the main character

6/10- Could have been really good but it isn't.
It does have an interesting premise but disappointingly the direction it takes is generic and mediocre.
The two main characters are exes- Yume and Irido. Until recently, they were in a relationship but they break up due to several reasons. Now, they find out that their parents are marrying and they are now step siblings. The premise has a lot of potential with good writing and decent scenarios.
Their backstory and reasons for breakup are well written but the story doesn't explore its implications and impact on their personalities well. Its stated very openly that they ...

A simple but sweet story. That's it.
Dahlia, our freaky genius girl, has reincarnated into a world of magic and adventure, but unlike other isekai stories, her reincarnation has little relevance in this anime's plot. Though mentions of her past life are sprinkled as random afterthoughts occasionally, this story focuses its entirety on Dahlia's development of magical devices for everyday use.
Of course, the show begins with more gusto and intrigue outside of inventing, but the quick pace quickly tapers off after episode three. The show becomes so slow that we, the viewer, become victims of an onslaught of repetitive still shots that have absolutely ...

To summarize into one word, trash. For a long explanation, read below:
The reboot of "Demon Lord, Retry! R" fail to live up to the promise of its first season, with reviewers like me condemning its lack of improvement, narrative missteps, and reliance on filler content for the first 2 damn episode. Despite the original series being hailed as a "rare good isekai" with strong pacing, character design, and dialogue, the reboot devolves into a very disjointed and frustrating experience. I read some reviews on other sites that argue the sequel carries over nearly all the flaws of its predecessor while introducing new issues, (which it ...

So you're telling me this show—Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic—is supposed to be some “intellectual romantic comedy masterpiece”? Yeah, no. It’s just a bunch of high-IQ idiots acting like emotionally constipated middle schoolers, and then the “alpha” MC makes the dumbest possible romantic decision because… reasons?
Let’s talk about it.
🧠 The MC: Supposedly Smart, Emotionally Stupid
Shirogane is hyped up as this ultra-disciplined, top-performing, cold-blooded genius. Dude runs the student council, works jobs, raises his sister, survives with no money—all while dominating exams like a machine.

If you ever wanted to watch a fantasy anime where the main character has the emotional intelligence of a brick, the romantic lead treats him like dogshit, and the story rewards abuse with romance—congrats. Zero no Tsukaima is exactly that trainwreck.

Are you looking to escape your past, discover it, or relive it?
The art style and the setting are the same in spirit, a modern retake on the past. A sense of futurism and nostalgia blend together, slowly seeped in mystery as the story progresses. The more details you pay attention to, the more mysterious it gets.
If you're looking for a story like for instance the Absolute Boyfriend manga, where the sci-fi elements mainly serve as a backdrop for (and driver of) the romance, this is not it. Here, the interpersonal relationship between the main character and the love interest, serves more as a starting ...

I had high hopes going into Code Geass R2 after the first season’s intriguing plot and complex characters, but unfortunately, this sequel utterly fails to deliver. What could have been a brilliant continuation instead unravels into a confusing, frustrating mess that betrays everything that made the original compelling.
First and foremost, the writing feels rushed and inconsistent. Instead of clever strategic battles and nuanced character development, the plot devolves into over-the-top melodrama and forced twists that make little sense. Key characters, especially Lelouch, make baffling decisions that ignore their intelligence and previously established motivations. I started watching with a calm curiosity. The story felt slow but had its own rhythm. After episode 7 I didn’t just like Frieren <3 I began to genuinely respect her. Realizing how deep she is changed the way I watched. I wish I had followed it while it was airing to share that journey with others^^ The art style fits the tone of the story perfectly subtle emotional and never too flashy. While the premise isn’t entirely unique, the execution is thoughtful and full of heart. The characters are well rounded and their reactions feel grounded in real emotion. Even those who don’t usually

The art is incredible, 10/10. The characters and world are nicely fleshed out, and the pacing is just right.
However, there's just too much fetish content to give it a rating higher than 8. They could've used more actual clever jokes, instead of expecting people to laugh at accidental groping, underage accidental nudity and creepy comments from adults, men getting off on being stepped on and degraded, etc. The amount of sexualized content would've been understandable if the show had been in the ecchi genre, but not so much when it's only labeled "Action, Fantasy, Sci-Fi". A Promising Start That Falls Flat
I’m keeping it real: the first two episodes of this show are genuinely solid, easily earning an 8/10 for their charm and energy. But the cracks start showing fast, and it’s a downhill slide from there. Here’s why it falters:
Repetitive Humor: The same tired “I say ‘I love you’ to mock your feelings” gag gets old quick. How many times can they recycle it before it’s just lazy writing?
Forced Drama: Conflicts feel contrived, with characters overreacting or acting outright irrational to stir up pointless disputes.
Immature Adults: The “grown-ups acting like kids” trope is overdone and makes everyone feel one-dimensional.

A railgun operates by passing a high electric current through two parallel conductive rails, generating a magnetic field that exerts a Lorentz force on a conductive projectile, propelling it at high velocity. Misaka Mikoto is an esper, whose ability called "Electromaster" allows her to manipulate electricity, yet somehow she is able to create an effect of a railgun without any rails. That's very representative not only of how much the author is familiar with physics, but just as how much sense this whole anime makes.

The second season of this show definitely feels like a lesser product when compared to the first. Where the first season had notable shifts and important story beats, this sequel series feels much more generic and bland in comparison. We find little of what made the original story charming; there are no more interesting shifts in character perspective, no more changes of scenery beyond simple fantasy, nothing that made the first season stand out. The majority of the season follows a plot thread of a generic battle that makes this season feel more like the second cour of a single 2-part season, instead of the

This show feels somewhat mundane in its presentation. The first episode is by far the darkest of this season, and as a product this show is unfinished and leaves a lot to be desired. However as a smaller part of a longer story, it is likely that this show will be viewed as a somewhat solid Isekai, assuming the ending is not completely bunked. There are always better shows, but this product essentially serves as the complete Isekai trope slop-fest concentrated into a somewhat respectable presentation. There are minor issues with pacing and story structure, it seems to linger in certain settings while also feeling

Well here we have the Black Sheep of the season with 75 no recommendations but 76 with mine, a well-deserved title since it would be nice to invent a new term for the great mediocrity of the script of this original anime that mixes all the problems of isekai and not only at the narrative level but also in animation. If it has some success at the audience level in Japan, it means that the majority of the season is weak and mediocre, the only thing missing is a harem. If the plan was to grab onto the isekai, they arrived 10 years late, even

- the story is just another copy of those otome game tropes. the villainess suddenly became good and treats everyone nice after the reincarnation, everyone likes the villainess and the heroine love story will derail. nothing new at all

Actually I have never watched anime Uma Musume ( just on clip sometimes ) , and I started it from Cinderella Gray because some people said it doesn't matter because the timeline and Main Character are also different each season.
but after that I saw a little bit like season 1, 2 and 3 like there is a gap like graphics and story aspect, Cinderella Gray focuses on Oguri himself, much better graphics... and it really feels like a "Main Character"... and it turns out the concept of the anime also comes from real horse racing in Japan and I think it's very interesting where ...

if there is no Wezaemon (samurai boss) maybe this anime story will be ordinary, that's all I think is good about this anime, the story is too wordy, unfocused, often deviates from the plot, discusses something that has nothing to do with the main story in the game, the romantic story is bad, honestly this anime can be finished in 12 episodes if the story is more focused, and there are no side stories (which I don't think are interesting either). My score is 7, and I recommend it if you want to watch it, but personally if you have to be told to re-watch

The apotheosis of anime Mythos.
The greatest of the modern myths, and the most resplendent in both absurdity and sublimity, that in its shimmering extravagance, ascends to the heights of Dante, plunges into the depths of Heraclitus, and shatters with cosmic fists the stale stone idols of our post-shonen era(although coming from the golden age of anime, but still remaining relevant with both the classic saga and the later titles who add to the lore).
Saint Seiya is a sacred epic presented as a battle-shonen, a transfiguration of metal and myth. Like all true works of art, it is not the invention of man, but a mirror ...

Every year there are those few releases. I don’t think I need to say much more, you know what I’m talking about. The few new shows that fly above the thick cloud of the year’s releases and capture their limited and distinct spot among the discussions that will come to characterise that year. Simply, every year is defined by a select few new releases which, because of: heavy emotional impact, a new and unique premise, notoriety from past seasons, notably high quality etc. gain favour with the community and grow to be the great successes of the year. If you need some examples I would

Great Visuals.
Good Characters.
Confusing Backstories.
Weird Vibe.
That’s how I’d describe Kowloon Generic Romance.
Let me be clear: this isn’t a bad anime—not at all. But it does feel like a collage of familiar ideas pulled from other shows. You've likely seen similar characters and dynamics before, placed into a vaguely dystopian, sci-fi romance structure. It’s presented with visuals reminiscent of late 80s to early 2000s anime, coated in what many might call a “retro-wave” aesthetic.
All that said I do not think this is perfect, nor do I think this in any way bad. But, I do believe that this has many problems that would stop people from enjoying ...

This movie is a rarity in media. There are a lot of stories where some fans would say "oh it gets good at the end, you just need to get through the first many hours to get to the good part". This movie is the one where it's true. The 2nd season is infamous for the 8 "Endless Eight" episodes and the anime seasons themselves have its weird 2009 rerelease episode order. Any other anime (including this before the movie released) would be absolutely ridiculed for what Endless Eight was. But, what are considered the 8 worst episodes of the 2nd season, are possibly the

Non-chronological narration, oppressive editing that screams "watch me!" and subsequent puzzles of this puzzle – this is how you can sum up Monogatari Series: Second Season.
Each of the five arcs turned out to be a rollercoaster of emotions, although I will remember the one dedicated to Mayoi the most (and I'm not saying that, because the opening and music for this part were absolutely wonderfully charming!). Tsubasa's storyline was very interesting to me at first – more sisterhood! – but its ending was very disappointing. Here comes Araragi and as usual, he solves everything on his own, oh how wonderful he is. I understand that ...

Let's start by saying the manhwa was better.
Now you may be wondering, "How could it be better if they followed the source material exactly in the adaptation?" Well, for one, the sound made the pacing so unbelievably awkward. At several points, I noticed moments of actual silence or sound effects (i.e. footsteps) with no background music. More than that, the background music didn't really match the show much at all.
On a personal note, I wasn't a fan of the VA for Noah, but that's really neither here nor there. Also, compared to the manhwa, everything just felt awfully slow.

As a lover of comically bad isekai manhwa, I was relatively prepared for this show to be, well, comically bad. It wasn't that far off.
Pushing aside the fact that the main character woke up one day and, without any previous experience in this world, decided "let's become a doctor, that's certainly won't be suspicious," the writing, the animation, and the characters all leave much to be desired. To be honest, I actually wish that this show was comically bad because, in reality, it's just cringeworthy.
I believe that the isekai genre, as a whole, is fun because of the absurdity in most situations, but ...

To be honest, after reading, watching, and dropping both iterations of Solo Leveling, I still don't get the overwhelming hype this show got.
Tower of God, a manhwa that follows a similar trope of weak guy becomes unstoppably strong, does a far better job of balancing substance (characters/plot) with action. Solo Leveling is just a barrage of action scenes with smatterings of dialogue and no character development, in my opinion.
And if action is all you're looking for, you've come to the right spot, but I certainly don't believe this show deserves to be on a pedestal quite so high with just that.

I feel teased. Although entertaining, I found myself left with more questions than answers at the end of the day.
With basically each episode introducing a new "mystery" for the Raven Consort to solve, it's hard to see exactly what the plot of the story is. Now, Apothecary Diaries follows this style to some extent as well, but the individual mysteries end up culminating into the larger plot. I felt no such direction from this series.
So while I did enjoy the mysteries, I feel the show is still lacking in many ways as a whole. It felt like a bunch of singles smashed into an ...

To put simply, this anime is a waste of time and a waste of what could've been a very interesting plotline.
Starting with the premise that there's a somewhat secret division of "police" that are meant to be intermediaries between the supernatural and the public was promising. Everything after that is a bit of a mess.
Starting off with the fact that these "intermediaries" cannot even understand what these supernatural creatures are saying, leading to, of course, mind-numbing misunderstanding after misunderstanding. Even with the assistance of the newbie, who has taken on the role of translator, as the only one who can understand them.

As someone who read the manga in preparation for the release of this show, I can only say that I'm disappointed.
Knowing the course of the source material, it was easy to overlook how much was wrong with the adaptation (mostly because I was just excited to see it animated), but thinking about how this could be some people's first interaction with the Sakamoto Days story made me extremely sad. Putting aside how lackluster the animation was, the flow of the episodes just felt very disjointed, and the pacing was also quite strange.
Still, there are some merits to its existence, I just hope that ...

Dandadan has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. Is this because I have a childish sense of humor? Definitely, but, putting the ball jokes aside, I'm one of the many who also got sucked in by the amazing soundtrack, vivid colors, and lovable characters.
I will say that this show is most certainly not everyone's cup of tea, especially if you don't like tea that has an overwhelming number of dirty jokes. So if the idea of a possessed young man searching for his family jewels with the help of a ragtag crew while simultaneously fighting off aliens and other spirits doesn't sound enticing ...
