This show is junk food, it's bad but I still crave it. It's not the surf and turf $100 meal from a fine dining restaurant that is jobless reincarnation, that's for sure. Is it bad? yes. Do you crave isekai and fantasy? If so then this series is the perfect junk food for you since the animation industry can't afford to pump out 10/10 jobless reincarnation seasons, while we wait between our fancy feasts we must satiate our cravings with this junk food that does a damn good job at that. It's bad but it's entertaining and satisfies our isekai cravings, precisely what junk food ...

Ehh... I watched this because a co-worker recommended it and really wanted me to watch it, but...

It's really just a bare bones basic rom-com shoujo. There is genuinely nothing I can recall that is particularly enjoyable about it; for me, it feels a lot like a mesh of all the shoujo tropes, but never really introducing any substance to them. Like, I genuinely cannot tell you why Ishimori likes the guy. And Ishimori's personality is very much on the passive side.

Pros:
-a good shoujo to start out with
-something familiar

Cons:
-if you've watched a lot of anime, it's something VERY familiar, redundant almost

Easily one of my top 10 anime. Honestly, I'd recommend watching it just simply because of the absolute BANGER openings this anime has to offer. It stands the flow of time, in my opinion, but there are some typical anime scenes reminiscent of the era in which it aired. It was a highly spoken of anime back in the day, so I'm surprised to hear many people haven't heard of it and that it's actually considered "underrated."

Noragami's strong suit is in its characters, rather than its plot or action scenes. It really introduces you to them and gets you familiar with them, both their likable ...

What frustrates me about this show is that it doesn't do much with its ridiculous, trashy premise.

Yes, there's nudity from time to time and even a couple of suggestive/erotic moments that caught me off guard but by the end, the gimmick ended up being a distraction for what the show actually was: another forgettable anime romance.

The show is still pleasant enough in its own right. Stripped of its sexually inappropriate moments, there's a comforting vibe that this show exudes that I believe stems from it's uncomplicated, undemanding narrative and its likable, albeit clichéd protagonists.

Though I didn't hate sitting through it, this show is an easy ...

I don't write reviews 90% of the time, but in this case, I just wanted to leave a cautionary remark.

If you're going to watch it:
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SKIP THE LAST EPISODE. I don't know how, but if you lasted through the majority of the show like I did, the last episode makes EVERYTHING ALL THE WORSE AND COMPLETELY RUINS IT ALL. It's literally just an average harem isekai-trash anime but I watched it for the stellar VA casting... but alas, PLEASE, it's really not worth completing.

If you're not going to watch it:
Good. Please do not ever make the same mistake I did...

Ecchi + rom com always a banger combination . No time No date you can bing this kind of shows to relieve mood anytime .
This show isn't for gooner rizz haters so, watch at your own risk .
Many people started this just because to watch some naked scenes but stayed for plot including me . I always find ecchi medicore just because of medicore plot and excessive fan service + cringe comedy but takemine san is different . It's literally a revolution in ecchi industry . We want more .

Is the story lacking depth? Yes. Are side characters let aside? Yes. But was it still enjoyable? Yes, of course.

Lots of negative reviews mention these two point: story depths and character development as "empty" or even "bad". But why would this be the only criteria for a good anime? For some (like me) a good anime is one I enjoyed watching which solo leveling absolutely did. Solo leveling basically is a badass dude making badass things, nothing too fancy. Sometimes you don't want to mess with complexes things, you just want to relax and see cool stuff. That's why I'm giving solo leveling the maximum ...

"The Too-Perfect Saint" is an amazing anime — with an overall mediocre ending.

I’d honestly say it’s one of the best of the Spring 2025 season too.

Now, when I say “mediocre ending,” I’m mainly talking about the last two episodes. They just weren’t on the same level as the rest of the anime, not even close. I won’t spoil anything, but the show was hitting it out of the park every episode — until those last two. I didn’t feel nearly as drawn in, and they lacked the energy and impact the rest of the series had. That said, does it ruin the anime? Absolutely not. ...

This will be a short and very personalized review that just simply states my thoughts and feelings about the flaws with this show and whether or not I would recommend it. It's going to be very subjective and different from my usual "serious" reviews so don't get pissed as this is just my subjective opinion.

On the whole the show is alright, it has some writing issues with rather cliche and nonsensical villains but was decently entertaining on the whole and wasn't anything to write home about. It's main premise of figuring out one's self and understanding their own feelings is a thing that has been ...

Obviously, this is normal shojo fantasy. It's wish fulfillment, fun, and sweet. I think it's perfectly watchable if you're craving that.

I really liked the beginning. I was curious about the world and was interested in the characters, especially Mia. I sort of felt like there was nuance to her that the other characters didn't have, and that isn't that common in these 12 episode romances. However, as the story went on, the development kind of went flat and the story felt rushed. I didn't really get to know anyone in detail. I think maybe if things were more fleshed out, I would have enjoyed ...

I must say I found this anime today and binged all 12 episodes in one sitting. WOW just WOW when it comes to The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom as I expected one thing and got something else entirely. With most anime where the trope is the MC is betray or treated poorly and sent somewhere else only to be appreciated and learn the meaning of love, I was so SURPRISED with how well this story was put together from start to finish. It had the love story from My Happy Marriage, the Betrayal & Anger from Shield ...

*Slam Dunk* is a pioneering anime in the sports genre that heavily influenced many titles that came after it. The story follows Hanamichi Sakuragi, a delinquent teenager who joins the basketball team just to impress a girl. However, over time, he genuinely gets into the sport, which makes for an entertaining character progression.

For its time, the animation is quite decent. I’m surprised some people criticize it for being stiff, when it’s really not that bad. While it’s true that in non-game scenes the stiffness is more noticeable, during the important moments — like the tournaments — the animation does a great job. It has energy ...

How can anyone give this a score above 4?
You can give 1 point for the fact that there is at least something close to the word "animation". Rarely and barely there is at least some movement so you can't say it's PowerPoint only.
2 points for the voice acting which is the only thing that anime does well and that's it.
Characters and story not existent, the anime could have been shortened to like 8/9/10 episodes and you'd still think it's too long. Not because the aNiMaTiOn is lacking, but because there is no story and character development, nothing is rly happening at all. 2010 CGI also ...

I don't normally go here, but I always like to poke about the wilder offerings from time to time to see if there's anything worth watching. This one, for me, was. The characters were likeable and easy to root for. The situation was kind of silly and I liked the absurdity of the closet scheme and the situations that arose from it. Both the leads seemed to mean well for the most part and I think, for me, that is key in any sexy romp. If I can't root for the couple eventually getting together, then I just nope on out even when everyone's clothes ...

Would’ve given it a higher rating if it weren’t for her. Mashie and Muscles had a lot going for it—the story was solid, the pacing was decent, and some of the scenes were actually pretty entertaining. But seriously, that one character ruined so much of it for me. I mean, she’s just so annoying. Every time she opened her mouth, it pulled me right out of the moment. It’s like the writers tried way too hard to make her quirky or funny, and it just ended up being grating. If they had toned her down—or better yet, cut her out entirely, I’d probably have enjoyed ...

It's so trash like everyone is an asshole and the drama and issues don't make any sense. Half of the stuff that happens only happens to make drama, this is by far my least favorite show this season. Watch it if you want to have a horrible time. There is only 2 or 3 good people in the show and pretty much everyone else is willing to backstab the mc to further their agenda. There is still 1 more episode but I can't imagine how they could fix this shit show so I definitely don't recommend anyone to watch this. If you want a good ...

It had a good start, but it's all over the place honestly. The romance tag is misleading too, there's barely anything going on on that front.

It was an okay fantasy, but it's really generic and nothing special about it, I haven't watched many fantasy series, so I can't really compare this to anything I've seen, but I know for a fact that any fantasy anime have more to it than this one. I mean across all the saints we've seen like 3-4 abilities in total, when it comes to fighting they all spam silver judgement, other than that they use a generic healing/shielding/zone ability, so ...

TurtleMe WTF WERE U THINKING?
STUDIO A-CAT?
TRASH STUDIO WITH CHEAP ANIMATIONS?

Honestly people say that the author make have been tricked/deceived but in my opinion he should have look more carefully at which studio he wanted because clearly he didn't because Studio A-Cat shouldn't have even been an option for this show. It doesn't take much effort to see that Studio A-Cat has cheap animations that look like shit. IT WAS TRASH. DONT EVEN BOTHER MAKING A REMAKE OF IT. ITS RUINED.

Final vote 4: At the plot I would give an 8 because I found it interesting, the problem is everything else: I would give a 3 to the animations because they are horrendous (I regret those of Ex-Arm), to the graphics a 6 because it is acceptable and to the dialogues I would give a 5 because many are flat and without spirit.

A disappointment that worsens at each episode, arrive at the end and you understand that it has not left you anything.
They have already announced the second season but I hope in a remake of the first with a different animation study!

An anime whose central character is one that has been little explored: a sports team's stadium.

Over the years, we've seen many spokon that encourage us to take an interest in a particular sport. We've seen many slice-of-life animes that motivate us to take an interest in a specific activity. It's just that until now, we haven't seen a story that makes us more interested in the place than in the activities. Ballpark brings a baseball stadium to life completely. Not in a literal sense; it's not like they humanize it with some kind of power. Rather, they tell us the stories of all the people ...

I've watched 11 episodes, and it's time to talk...
Okay, I'll detail every aspect of the show.
First, the plot is fantastic and constantly complex, sometimes with unexpected twists and turns. Unlike some shows that simply want to show events, To Be Hero X always tries to shock the viewer. Sometimes, you'll never expect the real enemy.
The events are built in a unique way. Showing the stories of several heroes with different timelines and linking these timelines is a wonderful and interactive way to build events. I don't see any complications in building events, and I have no problems ...

I'm sure if you had to take a guess on what this show is about, you could probably guess (as most light novel adaptions seem to do nowadays), so I came into this series with a few expectations and opinions on what I thought it'd be about. Now, though the beginning events are predictable, after that I felt this series was quite unique and interesting.

Firstly, animation was nice. The picture book-esque art style I feel is also a really nice touch for show. It was clean, well put together, and was overall visually appealing personally. So there's a plus +

Next, the plot. Besides the ...

Lmaooo this has to be a joke anime, right???? Like the OP has more plot than the actual show. Not to mention half the episodes are the OP, ED, and ads for the app. And 0% of my questions were answered. Also where were the vampires?!?

On the other hand, I have to say that the character design for Holmes is pretty nice. It had a lot of potential. Oh well.
I would say watch it if you have about 36 minutes to waste and time for some dumb humor. Also, the subtitles for the first like 3 episodes are terrible. But after that they make more ...

Listen up, fellas, this is peak.

Most ecchi shows are mediocre, but occasionally you find a gem.
This anime is extremely straightforward. You know what you're signing up for before even reading the plot. If you don't like gooner degeneracy, then this show is clearly not for you.

We got the bread and butter self-insert setup: Loser, unpopular guy with average looks at best, somehow gets romantically involved with the extremely hot popular girl that everyone in the school wants to be with.
Except this time, the girl is a sadistic exhibitionist and blackmails the MC. This is a straight up femdom anime.

She has the power to undo time ...

The art style is so befitting of the dystopian reality this show is based in. The music that follows each action engrosses you in the back and forth.
Learning about these characters' pasts is what keeps you attached to each character, and the voice actors killed it, both in sub and dub.
This show is genuinely inspiring, and I can see the inspiration it drew from Cowboy Bebop through Shinichiro Watanabe. This is what anime should look and feel like. Art in motion that brings you along for the ride.
I genuinely hope to see more shows like this. It is so refreshing to finally see something ...

I'll start by saying that I have no idea why this show is rated so low on Crunchyroll.

Trash Isekai is my guilty pleasure genre, however, I like to think I'm pretty strict and objective when it comes to reviewing and rating these shows. The Crunchyroll rating as of right now is a 3.8/5, which, if you don't know, means that the vast majority of people think the show is not good. Unfortunately, Crunchyroll does nothing about the stupid people using its rating system, so the vast majority of shows are above 3.0 rating due to the aforementioned stupid people rating everything 5 stars for ...

It's pretty peak, after 1k+ episodes it's really bingable but also really good for watching some here and there. The characters are nice and you feel along with them a lot. Some might be intimidated by the episode count, but it's a chill anime, it's something you can watch when you're a bit braindead and don't want to pay that much attention, so the episodes go by quickly.

But when it has its moments oh my god it has its moments. I won't spoil anything, just give it a go. The way I remember everything about the earlier arcs, and how it's tied into the story, ...

Is this show on the level of jobless reincarnation? No, of course not, don't be stupid.
Is this show great? No but it's pretty decent pretty good and better than most Reincarnation shows that average 6.7 or 7.1. This show should probably average a 7.3 maybe 7.5 compared to its competition. Why doesn't it? hard to say. I heard there were a lot of expectations for this show, and it absolutely did not deliver, and perhaps it is being punished for that?

I can see its ambition, I can see what it was trying to do, but it didn't quite get there. If you ...

Okay, here we go for the twenty-sixth time:

Characters:
-Main characters: Good character development, as I think it's good, sometimes, to make you hate a character so that you can then love them. Subaru is simply the most realistic and raw protagonist I've seen in an anime.
And I can't deny that I also like Emilia, even though we don't know much about her yet. (7/7)
-Secondary: Good character designs and a love story for one of the characters, which is great. But if you give me the true “supporter” of the entire anime, then I can't deny that they excelled in this area, especially with Rem. (4/3)

Logic:
It's not ...

I’m really going to miss Philia — I think I’ve become a fan of this type of character.
The story isn’t the most unique, and some parts felt rushed or underdeveloped. Maybe it’s due to the anime adaptation, since I didn’t read the light novel. Still, I found it charming in its own way. If you enjoy romance with characters who go through personal growth and emotional changes, it’s worth watching.
The characters aren’t deeply complex, but they have enough charm and flaws to keep things interesting. Their reactions felt natural, even in a fantasy setting. Philia especially stands out with her gentle and sincere personality.

To be honest, I was surprised by how many themes this anime handled well. It’s got romance, mystery, action, fantasy—even some comedy stuff. Basically, everything. And what makes this anime stand out is how well all those elements come together. Many shows try to mix genres and completely fail, but this one actually pulls it off. The story may not be the deepest out there, but it's more than solid enough to satisfy even more experienced or demanding viewers.

The art style isn’t anything mind-blowing, but it’s definitely above average—especially considering the show is already a few years old. It complements the atmosphere really well without ...

Shit was lowkey hilarious because of how bad the animation was at times. It was aight ig. Watch it with a friend so you dont end up clawing your eyes out (alone). Gave it an extra point or two because of how fucking shitty the animation was to a point where it was just funny. Otherwise I recommend watching it just for the fun of it, if you actually care ab the lore just read the manga.

If I were to use one word to describe this anime, it would be "bland."

While many have rightfully complained about it's subpar animation, The Beginning After the End (TBAtE)'s biggest issues lie in its storytelling. This series' story somehow manages the feat of spanning large stretches of time while also feeling like nothing has happened. This likely stems from how disconnected the events depicted actually are. Rather than having one event be directly caused by previous events, like in a good story, TBAtE instead sets up a series of loosely-related contrivances to get the protagonist from point A to point B.

Another contributor to TBAtE's ...

As a European, I found this anime surprisingly interesting. It’s basically a WW2-inspired fantasy with an alternate history twist, constantly making you think “what if this actually happened?” Don’t get me wrong—the story isn’t some groundbreaking masterpiece—but it holds up well and keeps you engaged. Same goes for the art style: it’s not insanely beautiful, but it fits the tone of a war-driven setting perfectly.

Personally, I love when anime uses real-life references—especially around war tactics, technology, world events, even things like kitchen culture and food. It adds a level of realism that many fantasy or isekai shows just skip. What makes Youjo Senki stand out ...

Impressively Bad Writing, inconsistent as all hell, I guess I gotta do this spoiler free although I dislike doing that.
It's impressive that a story that's just a copy paste of the same story that's been told a 100 times already, that you still managed to mess it up. It's like not even being able to make the simplest dish without ruining it.
The power levels/abilities are inconsistent and they forget they can do things all the time.
They never really get back to his "back story/village" it's constantly mentioned in his head but it's never a plot point. Not even in the final episodes which it seemed ...

Have you ever thought about how, in many fantasy anime, goblins, demons, and monsters often look soft and harmless? Goblin Slayer flips that idea completely. It’s brutal, grounded, and surprisingly realistic in its approach.

Instead of watching some overpowered high schooler casting one spell to wipe out entire enemy hordes, we follow Goblin Slayer—a man who’s perfected the art of killing goblins through strategy, experience, and ruthless efficiency. He’s not cocky, he’s prepared. He understands that even one mistake could cost him his life. He operates more like a professional than your typical reckless protagonist diving headfirst into S-tier dungeons.

Frieren starts off a little slow, but I didn't mind, because I like slice of life.
There are a mixture of slower and faster pace episodes, but it definitely picks up as it goes along, with more plot development and action scenes.
The music is good. It adds to the emotion of the scenes without being overwhelming.
The art is nice, pretty backgrounds and solid character designs.
The characters themselves are great. They develop as the story goes along, as do their relationships with each other.

I remember starting this anime out of pure boredom, thinking “meh, I’ll probably drop it after a few episodes.” And damn, I was wrong. The story is well-written, and the world actually feels alive. Even though I first watched it around five years ago, I still think not many shows since then have managed to build such a complex and vibrant world.

The art style may seem somewhat generic at first glance, but thanks to the massive city setting and the presence of many different races, it ends up feeling fresh and unique.

I've read the sauce so I know a little more, but I won't spoil any. Another thing I need mentioning: pls understand the difference between "good media" and "enjoying a piece of media". While I appreciate this anime for introducing me to the series and having a damn good OP I can't help but be disappointed after reading the webtoon and honestly think everyone should do that instead if they enjoy anything about this story. A few parts were done better in the anime but so much got recognized or skipped in ways which change a lot of important context. The last episode alone dropped my potential rating substantially since not only did they basically skip the best fight of the season but they rushed far too much of the fights leading up to it and ...

This is another one to watch if you have nothing better to do. The lack of movement in the animation is off-putting. Look at Shangri La Frontier - where 20 minutes is dedicated to a single fight in amazing detail. Same with Failure Frame - the animation detail is exquisite. Then you have this - that's almost like a flip-page animation, but with even less frames. The story is decent, but the most interesting character - and one I would have liked to have more of was the white dragon. You'll know why if you see this anime. No spoilers. Man. I know we shouldn't expect new anime to rise to some the greatness of the past, but MF Ghost is just so disappointing compared to Initial D, it's almost unbelievable. It's almost intentional.

The entirety of season 1 has one race and 2 qualifiers. ONE RACE. Initial D had a new race every 2-3 episodes! And the race itself? Mostly supercars driving in a straight line where raw horsepower is the main factor that counts. Gone are the days of intertwined tracks that allowed clever tricks for the underdog to beat superior opponents. I mean some of that is still here in MF Ghost but ...

You know... It started off great. Then it keeps getting worse. People being manipulated, people playing with Yu's feelings (literally)... It's horrible. The only reason I watched up to episode 11 is because I don't like leaving shows unfinished.
If one wants to watch people being gaslit, learn what a decade-long situationship looks like, or are a psycho/sociopath, this show is perfect!!! 😊

A big disappointment to a great webcomic, where they butcher the whole thing by their terrible animation.

In The Beginning After the End, do we follow Arthur who is king Grey reborn into another world. We start from the day he is reborn and follow him and the people around him as he grows up. It is classic fantasy isekai, but is told with greater detail since we truly follow him as he grows up.

As an anime only viewer, I can empathize with those who loved the manhwa and felt this was a poor adaptation. Still, I don't understand how this show is hated on so much.

As an anime, the story is great, the fights are fun, and I am enjoying watching it. Why do we compare everything to the greatest animated pieces and say if its not produced like them then it's junk? I figure the only reason this anime is rated so low is because people expect solo leveling animation nowadays from their favorite manhwas. That isn't to say I wished stories like these get the ...

8/10- This is what I wanted from Remake Our Life. This is so much better.

The story about basically redoing your life has been done dozens of times, but this one was special.

Its a premise you may have seen in a few romcoms, but ReLife does it in a such a refreshing way that I couldn't help but binge this show. There is not a single episode that feels like it was added to hit runtime requirements. The show may also be more relatable to an older audience.

The Beginning After the End was one of the most highly anticipated light novel adaptations to come out from outside Japan. Written by Brandon Lee, known by his alias as TurtleMe, this story takes a more careful and genuine approach to Isekai—a genre not typically praised for its strong writing or compelling characters. Boasting one of fantasy’s richest worldbuilding, a meticulously detailed magic system, compelling character-writing, and immersive storytelling, any adaptation—be it manhwa or anime—had some pretty big shoes to fill. After a long wait, the ten-year light novel finally received the anime adaptation the fans have long been waiting for, yet they were not ...

Sometimes being perfect, results in you being hated by the people around you and being tossed aside for being too-perfect.

This anime focuses on the two sisters, Philia and Mia, who are separated after Philia’s fiance sells her off to their neighboring country. We then get to see how Philia’s life starts evolving by not being surrounded with people jealous of her abilities, and Mia left behind in a country who would sell their own saint just because she was too-perfect.

For the plot of the show it is very much split between the two sisters, where we see them each facing their own reality. Each sister ...

Skeleton Knight in Another World turned out to be a surprisingly fun and enjoyable isekai anime. While the story moves at a slightly slower pace, the world-building and steady character development kept me engaged throughout. It has a nice mix of action, fantasy, and humor, making it a solid watch for fans of the genre.

The main character, Arc, stands out quite literally—he’s a powerful warrior trapped in the form of a skeleton from his in-game avatar. His design is absolutely fire and really cool to see in action. His calm and kind personality contrasts nicely with his intimidating appearance, adding a refreshing touch to the ...
