Well...... Honestly it took me years since i watched the first season to complete this show, and now im not that sorry. Because god damn this second season dropped the ball in almost every regard. A full blown downgrade from the first one.

The story itself wasn't really affected . It's still just as plenty intresting . But that's about what stayed the same and didn't dissapoint. The animation was a real stinker in this second season. It wasn't any masterpiece in the first, but it was good regardless. This time around however...... Terrible. Just... Terrible. And it makes sense when you look at the description and ...

You really can't trust the scores on this website anymore, huh?

This is hands-down the best "demon lord" anime I've seen. It's fun from start to finish, with two extremely fun arcs that have pretty much everything you would want from something of this genre. The characters are likeable, with the main character obviously being overpowered - but nothing too over-the-top. The story is solid, exciting, and makes sense. What's nice about the story here is that they basically split it into two mini-seasons. It almost felt like watching two different genres of anime.

The action felt pretty good too, even if I would not say it's ...

If you like Samurai Champloo you'll like this show. The story, action and animation is not as good but its a decent/good show. Basically a Walmart Samurai Champloo with a cool immortality concept. The colors are very dull, barley any contrast in the animation at all, so you got to watch with your brightness turned up to the max or else you don't know wtf is going on. The story is pretty predictable but that's fine if the concept is good which it was.

I love the art work of 90s anime. They combined this with jazzy undertones and it gave this film more of a depressed dark and gloomy setting. Let's you enter into this harsh reality of all the characters shown. Kill or be killed.

Sawa lacked personality and I could barely figure out what her motives were until the end of the film. While predictable to a degree the the graphic telling and showing of her submission to Akai and how graphic it was shows that it's intended for a more adult and mature audience. This other guy, Kanie, that is pronounced Kanye in the the ...

This show is one of the most plainly average shows I have borne witness to in a long time. This is not a testament to its quality, but rather an indictment of its lack of attempt to be anything more than a cash grab. There are various issues with the product as it is, but the biggest one being that it is only supposed to serve as a poorly disguised advertisement to get people to purchase the light novel. I don't know anything about the quality of that product, but as a standalone product this story lacks almost everything to be seen as a good ...

Though I rated this with the Mixed Feelings tag, don't get me wrong, I really like the anime as a whole for the fact that it still had good character development, good/believable combat scenes, a really moving OST, and a stable plot throughout—

That being the case, one has to admit that it does contain scenes of foreplay and kink porn. That's all I will say on that matter, as that's not what I'm here to review.

Besides the romance and the "intense" touchy-feely scenes, there is just enough world building done that everything is cohesive and plausible. The combat scenes, along with the animations are top-notch.

Overall ...

Loved it. The story was unique and very enjoyable and it explored many different emotional themes in different episodes. Part of the uniqueness is through the idea of a flooded society and I also haven't seen many protagonists with a prosthetic. Interesting well thought out characters that I grew more and more attached to as the series went on. I think the animation was great and I like how the landscapes were done. The characters and their responses to different struggles and situations were impactful and realistic. This show was totally an emotional rollercoaster that had me laughing one minute and tearing up the next. ...

Please note -
At the time of writing this I also completed "Season 2 part 2" which is only 5 episodes and I certainly believe it belongs attached to this for a total of 15 instead of 10, My opinion expressed here also includes those 5 episodes. If that gets me negative points then so be it but I don't want to write a whole separate review for one single fight all while struggling to avoid spoilers.

Record of Ragnarök II is a continuation of the first and overall I'd say they made a few improvements compared to the first season.

Let me start with what continued ...

Welcome to my 7th review apart of my shitty anime review series.: The infamous Skelter Heaven! This show has somehow garnered the lowest possible score on MAL (in terms of anime), so how in the hell could I possibly recommend it? Well, that's just it - it is *the* lowest rated anime, that's a huge selling point in and of itself.

Skelter Heaven is bad, there's no getting past that, but to be fair to it - it's a 20 minute OVA that doesn't exactly get much time to do itself any justice. So here we go:

OST - 6/10, the best part of this OVA, ...

I watched a few episodes with a friend, because I liked the premise. We didn't get to make the connection to how this was gonna be an isekai, though, which I found very refreshing (as exposition is usually handled really badly in modern anime and this change promised a story-twist down the line).
Unfortunately, we were surprised in a much worse way: We noticed the shadows are so lazily implemented, from then on we have only referred to this anime as "V-shadow anime", as the shadows mostly form diagonal lines (/// or \\\). It makes no sense at all and as soon as we saw it, ...

My my. What a lovely film this is. This is week 3 of my friend and I recommending 1 film to watch each week and this is the best so far (I'm not mad this was his recommendation at all........I'm. not I swear........nob...)Anyway. This film was a real treat and here is why I think so.

I start with the animation. Character designs are as simple as they are perfect. There is no over complicated character work or over the top cliches, just excellent character design. Another great element to this lovely piece of work is the perspective the animation captures in both characters and ...

This anime is like a trendy burger joint. You go there, try the burger, and maybe even enjoy it. Then you go back to your usual favourites or look for something else, leaving it behind. There's just nothing memorable about it.
It's a shounen that borrows elements from several popular titles within the genre\*, mixed with comedy. The general idea for the world and events seems inspired by *Harry Potter*, though the overall composition lacks originality.

Worth watching? Probably not.
Did I enjoy it? I can’t say I didn’t but just a bit.

I haven't watched the original work, but you can really tell its a remake with how dated the tropes are. To be fair, this is such a classic work, it probably made or heavily developed them.

This work ends up as an over-the-top comedy and combat anime, with romantic subplots to drive them. If you're looking for the former, this is a solid pick. If you're looking for the latter or something profound/thoughtprovoking with the whole sex change element, this'll be bad.

- The main characters are generally unlikable, being pretty old tropes without much else going on. The romance progression feels weak personally. The ...

was never interested in vigilantes beyond the base concept strictly because i thought the artwork of the manga blew. pop step and her exposed asscheeks innocent. once the show got announced however, with the artwork thoroughly cleaned up, i felt like it was the perfect opportunity to see what all of the fuss was about. people tend to consider vigilantes to be, in general, quite underrated and, in general, a worthwhile addition to the world of mha. so, now that ive given it more than a fair shake, what, exactly, is it that yall are seeing here that im not? plus they censored the one ...

This anime is everything MHA should have been and wasn't.

Deku should have been a weak character who becomes a great hero through willpower and hard work, but he only depends on protagonism. Kouichi, on the other hand, is someone who really has a bad power but still pursues his dream of being a hero and develops through true hard work.

Because there are fewer characters, you can better follow each one's development. It has a more mature and less childish story. And the animation is much more interesting and fun.

If you don't like MHA there's still a good chance you'll love Vigilante.

I wanted to like it. I really did, but as I keep watching each episode, the more confused. I get. It feels like some of the scenes are rushed and random developments are rushed. Also, I hate the MMC. It felt like Booktok vibes, but not good writing. I'm hoping the manga is better. I felt zero attachment to any of the characters. It didn't make me feel anything. It's a shame because the beginning was nice, but it felt rushed so on afterward.

Also, I don't like the art style. The eyes look odd. Pretty often, I think "what's going on?" There's no information about ...

Don't watch this anime!!

First of all, it's not a comedy anime as stated, but a drama.

And it's not a good sequel to To Be Hero either. Even though the story takes place in the same universe and we can see the two characters again in prequel.

Another mistake—though not the most serious—is that there are only 7 episodes, not 12 as mentioned.

Okay so this anime isn’t really that great, I find myself not really enjoying the story that much, but I will say, the songs are absolutely amazing, I love the mix of classical music, it’s definitely something I don’t really see in anime’s like this. I find myself both loving this anime but hating it at the same time. My main gripe is with the storyline itself, like really, what the hell was that? It took until ep. 9 before the plot properly picked up, which is such a shame considering how well they built the tension and everything in the first season.

It's also disappointing how rushed that ending was. I haven't really read the source material but it seems like they just wanted it to be done as soon as possible? A lot of things could've been explored further but nooooooo. They decided to drag the first 8 episodes for some reason and compress the things I was curious about in the last ...

This anime reminds me of some other famous works of fiction, but it somehow manages to be something very original and unique with one bold experimental idea in terms of storytelling. There were so many good ideas other than that, and almost everything was nicely put together and impressively well realized.
I don't think it's a perfect show quite honestly, so I have to point out a few issues. The last episode felt a bit too rushed in my opinion. Moreover, I have one major complaint about an action sequence in the episode 8. That part kind of felt like a shameless rip-off of a ...

Naruto: Shippuden for me, is considered to be an era-defining show; It was something that was culturally influential for the time it was established and arguably STILL is to this day, and has helped shape what anime is generally today. Its by no means a perfect show, and that's what the detail of this review is for. But for what it is, it's something I do recommend people to watch and find themselves to invest their time in when they could.

To cut it short, don't take this anime to seriously, not even the show takes itself seriously. It's funny, it's comfy, good animation and a nice cast of characters.

Mashle clearly runs on the fact that it's a parody of Harry Potter, with more than a handful of references to the popular movies. Mash is a super strong character with the brain size of a peanut outside of combat, the jokes are funny to a point of having a nice smile here and there, you're not gunna be laughing your ass off to this one so don't expect much, but it's a comfy Shonen anime. Henjin no Salad Bowl: The Wholesome Chaos You Didn’t Know You Needed

Every now and then, an anime comes along that throws all logic out the window, wraps it in a tortilla of absurdity, and serves it with a side of genuine heart. *Henjin no Salad Bowl* (translated loosely to *Salad Bowl of Eccentrics*) is exactly that dish—confusing at first bite, but oddly comforting once you chew on it a little. It’s like watching a sitcom where aliens, detectives, and medieval princesses cohabitate under one roof and somehow, it all makes perfect sense by the third episode. Or doesn’t. But you’ll love it anyway.

Yet another drop in the reincarnation/time travel/Akuyaku Reijou barrel of shows which grows increasingly large with every season. Tearmoon Empire primarily suffers from an overwhelming lack of focus in what exactly it wants to do as well as an extremely weak leading character.

This is an incredibly watered down adaptation of this story. I pre-read some of the manga before it released to determine if it was worth my time, but this studio took whatever was cooking and shut off the heat. The fights are so incredibly bland in the anime that you'd think the director was going for the slow-life genre. The novelty and ideas that the author originally had surrounding combat aren't captured here in the slightest, it doesn't have the heart of the original story. As it stands, this story got dragged down into the trash isekai tropes territory. If they had just tweaked their ...

This is a pretty alright song with a pretty horrible music videos. The music video consists of a girl dancing in a church. Her face is expressionless and the choreography is weird. I think this may have made use of motion capture technology because there's really no other excuse to be outdone by random MMD youtubers to this extent. The video also includes a bunch of random effects ranging from lighting, lights, lasers to fire and random shapes overlaid onto the video. The effects kind of feel like someone tried to make the expressionless dancing more watchable but they went way over the top and ...

Boy oh boy—this was so bad I had to come out of retirement just to write a review. Outside of nostalgia… simply put, this isn’t a good anime.

I rewatched this to see if my memories were accurate. They weren’t. Which means most people’s aren’t. This… was pretty bad.

Let’s start with the basics: character development. Or rather, the lack of it. Edward and Alphonse remain emotionally immature and narratively static throughout the series. After 51 episodes of death, destruction, betrayal, and trauma, they’re still acting like they just stepped off the playground. You’d expect some genuine transformation—but instead, the story leans heavily on their initial guilt ...

5/10- Pretty average. It would be one perfect adjective to describe this anime.

Basic plot of the show is that our male main character is secretely an important figure in the world of witches and is being secretely protected by the most popular girl in the school. 2 types of witches exist- Tower Witches, who are 'evil' and Workshop Witches, who are 'good'. This plot could have been a very solid foundation for the story to build on, but for whatever reason doesn't utilise its full potential. There are people who call this a romcom, but there's not nearly enough romance to call it one.

This is an isekai powerfantasy, if that's what you're into then you'll probably like this anime. If you aren't then there's really no reason to watch this.

The story is: Man dies, gets reincarnated in a fantasy world, gets adopted and taught magic and sword fighting by the most talented wizards and a sword master, becomes the best at magic in the world and then attends magic school. The main quirk of the story is that the main character, while extremely skilled in magic, has no normal life skills and, because he was raised away from society, does not understand how much stronger he is ...

This is a light isekai anime, and I quite recommend it, at first I was skeptical but after I thought about it, it turned out to be not bad either. first of course because the genre isekai, comedy and there may be a little harem, then the MC is overpowered, but what makes me dislike is that the MC hides his strength, indeed his colleagues know his power, but not with the community, for conflicts only limited to fighting bandits and also weak enemies, (understandably this is an anime with a light plot), but I hope he doesn't hide his strength, and is more active ...

Honestly, as BL it would be one of the best. Unfortunately, the BL title is very undeserved.
There is some fan-service and innuendo, at best. Sure, the over all message is that love conquers all. But that's it. Sorry, I grew up on Naruto, and it's the 2020s. You gotta do better than that to call yourself bl. I'd rather be watching thai shows again, if after all these years this is still all anime can offer in terms of queer representation. Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi looked pretty promising at first. Even thought he first scene was about the whole gang of sisters making fun of their brother as if he is the typical doormat rom-com protagonist, it quickly turned out that the whole sibling dynamic was actually pretty mature and level-headed. The sisters are making fun of Arata as a "pervert", but are reasonable enough to know that he is actually not that kind of person. The whole setup with the siblings not really being siblings and the resulting relationship shenannigans was quite intriguing.

But as I continued watching this show it turned out that what I initially ...

I think that the greatest achievement of this anime series is definitely the art and its designs; they're beautiful to look at, the detail in every frame of celluloid is astounding. Also kudos for be the series that set the tone for the anime elf archetype design that would become famous in the next years. Deedlit was one of the first elves to be designed with not just pointy ears but very long ears in the anime world. A trait that is still very popular today (cough cough, Frieren, Marcille).

I know this will be a divisive remark, but I think this show is trying to do something similar to One Punch Man, but with the standard Harem Isekai tropes as well. To that effect, I think that under certain circumstances this show is very high quality and manages to succeed in this endeavor.

I watched this show at 1.5x speed on dub. That being the case, many of the jokes managed to not only land, but occasionally catch me off guard. In particular, the absurdity of some of the scenes, like a belt talking about its grandchildren, in the moment may not seem completely absurd, ...

There are many, many misconceptions about Attack on Titan rampant in online spaces, these misconceptions are generally what fuels the unjust hate on the ending.
And today I'm gonna address them, with (mostly) unbiased look in the story's talking points, and interviews.

1. Eren didn't care for Mikasa until s4. Thefore Eremika is forced.

We first need to know the difference between >YOU< not liking a plot point, and the story not diving into it. You can not like Eremika's story and dynamic, but saying it didn't exist until s4 is ignorance.

Clocking in at just over twenty minutes, Plastic Neesan is a girl’s club gag comedy that never deviates from its main premise. Given the run-time, it’s a bit of a no-brainer that its standing as a collection of two minute shorts would be unable to encompass the necessities found within the usual makeup of a narrative. Although shorter stories may try to deliver a profound message, Plastic Neesan is different in this regard solely due to its comedic appeal. Got some time to kill? If so, this may be for you.

This has nothing which sets it apart from others which actually plays into its effectiveness as it builds on what works. The plot is unique, but it can definitely feel artificial because it's somewhat too convenient and unrealistic, but what is?

The characters set this apart from other romcoms, because even though they can all fit a cookie cutter trope character:

I love how the Dragon Emperor turns soft whenever it comes to his wife lmao, he’s so fragile.

If you’re familiar with Uma Musume as a franchise, you might already know that the series doesn’t shy away from tackling more serious themes beneath its cutesy, idol-like surface. The bright and cheerful character designs don’t tell the full story—and I first noticed this back in season 2 of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
While I’m not here to discuss the earlier entries, I think it’s important to understand that this movie didn’t suddenly emerge with a deep message out of nowhere. Rather, it feels like a natural evolution—diving even deeper into emotional and psychological territory than the franchise has before.
