Don't watch this anime!!

First of all, it's not a comedy anime as stated, but a drama.

And it's not a good sequel to To Be Hero either. Even though the story takes place in the same universe and we can see the two characters again in prequel.

Another mistake—though not the most serious—is that there are only 7 episodes, not 12 as mentioned.

Anyway, check it out only if you like dramas.

Okay so this anime isn’t really that great, I find myself not really enjoying the story that much, but I will say, the songs are absolutely amazing, I love the mix of classical music, it’s definitely something I don’t really see in anime’s like this. I find myself both loving this anime but hating it at the same time. The 3D models aren’t that great either, they look very goofy at times but I do definitely think this anime is the fun type of bad, it’s like bad but also kinda entertaining.. idk how to feel about this anime honestly 😭 I think the only ...

My main gripe is with the storyline itself, like really, what the hell was that? It took until ep. 9 before the plot properly picked up, which is such a shame considering how well they built the tension and everything in the first season.

It's also disappointing how rushed that ending was. I haven't really read the source material but it seems like they just wanted it to be done as soon as possible? A lot of things could've been explored further but nooooooo. They decided to drag the first 8 episodes for some reason and compress the things I was curious about in the last ...

This anime reminds me of some other famous works of fiction, but it somehow manages to be something very original and unique with one bold experimental idea in terms of storytelling. There were so many good ideas other than that, and almost everything was nicely put together and impressively well realized.
I don't think it's a perfect show quite honestly, so I have to point out a few issues. The last episode felt a bit too rushed in my opinion. Moreover, I have one major complaint about an action sequence in the episode 8. That part kind of felt like a shameless rip-off of a ...

Naruto: Shippuden for me, is considered to be an era-defining show; It was something that was culturally influential for the time it was established and arguably STILL is to this day, and has helped shape what anime is generally today. Its by no means a perfect show, and that's what the detail of this review is for. But for what it is, it's something I do recommend people to watch and find themselves to invest their time in when they could.

Animation (8/10) - This was a show that ran from 2007 - 2017; Standing the test of time generally, it's animation style is starting to ...

To cut it short, don't take this anime to seriously, not even the show takes itself seriously. It's funny, it's comfy, good animation and a nice cast of characters.

Mashle clearly runs on the fact that it's a parody of Harry Potter, with more than a handful of references to the popular movies. Mash is a super strong character with the brain size of a peanut outside of combat, the jokes are funny to a point of having a nice smile here and there, you're not gunna be laughing your ass off to this one so don't expect much, but it's a comfy Shonen anime. Henjin no Salad Bowl: The Wholesome Chaos You Didn’t Know You Needed

Every now and then, an anime comes along that throws all logic out the window, wraps it in a tortilla of absurdity, and serves it with a side of genuine heart. *Henjin no Salad Bowl* (translated loosely to *Salad Bowl of Eccentrics*) is exactly that dish—confusing at first bite, but oddly comforting once you chew on it a little. It’s like watching a sitcom where aliens, detectives, and medieval princesses cohabitate under one roof and somehow, it all makes perfect sense by the third episode. Or doesn’t. But you’ll love it anyway.

### The Illogically ...

Yet another drop in the reincarnation/time travel/Akuyaku Reijou barrel of shows which grows increasingly large with every season. Tearmoon Empire primarily suffers from an overwhelming lack of focus in what exactly it wants to do as well as an extremely weak leading character.

We follow Mia Tearmoon, a haughty princess who is executed due to a revolution brought upon poor leadership from the noble ruling class. She returns to her past self along with a magic diary containing her memories from the revolution as well as her years in solitary confinement. The course of the story follows Mia as she makes attempts to fix her ...

This is an incredibly watered down adaptation of this story. I pre-read some of the manga before it released to determine if it was worth my time, but this studio took whatever was cooking and shut off the heat. The fights are so incredibly bland in the anime that you'd think the director was going for the slow-life genre. The novelty and ideas that the author originally had surrounding combat aren't captured here in the slightest, it doesn't have the heart of the original story. As it stands, this story got dragged down into the trash isekai tropes territory. If they had just tweaked their ...

This is a pretty alright song with a pretty horrible music videos. The music video consists of a girl dancing in a church. Her face is expressionless and the choreography is weird. I think this may have made use of motion capture technology because there's really no other excuse to be outdone by random MMD youtubers to this extent. The video also includes a bunch of random effects ranging from lighting, lights, lasers to fire and random shapes overlaid onto the video. The effects kind of feel like someone tried to make the expressionless dancing more watchable but they went way over the top and ...

Boy oh boy—this was so bad I had to come out of retirement just to write a review. Outside of nostalgia… simply put, this isn’t a good anime.

I rewatched this to see if my memories were accurate. They weren’t. Which means most people’s aren’t. This… was pretty bad.

Let’s start with the basics: character development. Or rather, the lack of it. Edward and Alphonse remain emotionally immature and narratively static throughout the series. After 51 episodes of death, destruction, betrayal, and trauma, they’re still acting like they just stepped off the playground. You’d expect some genuine transformation—but instead, the story leans heavily on their initial guilt ...

5/10- Pretty average. It would be one perfect adjective to describe this anime.

Basic plot of the show is that our male main character is secretely an important figure in the world of witches and is being secretely protected by the most popular girl in the school. 2 types of witches exist- Tower Witches, who are 'evil' and Workshop Witches, who are 'good'. This plot could have been a very solid foundation for the story to build on, but for whatever reason doesn't utilise its full potential. There are people who call this a romcom, but there's not nearly enough romance to call it one.

For the ...

This is an isekai powerfantasy, if that's what you're into then you'll probably like this anime. If you aren't then there's really no reason to watch this.

The story is: Man dies, gets reincarnated in a fantasy world, gets adopted and taught magic and sword fighting by the most talented wizards and a sword master, becomes the best at magic in the world and then attends magic school. The main quirk of the story is that the main character, while extremely skilled in magic, has no normal life skills and, because he was raised away from society, does not understand how much stronger he is ...

This is a light isekai anime, and I quite recommend it, at first I was skeptical but after I thought about it, it turned out to be not bad either. first of course because the genre isekai, comedy and there may be a little harem, then the MC is overpowered, but what makes me dislike is that the MC hides his strength, indeed his colleagues know his power, but not with the community, for conflicts only limited to fighting bandits and also weak enemies, (understandably this is an anime with a light plot), but I hope he doesn't hide his strength, and is more active ...

Loved the dynamic between Rin and Shiemi . It developed quite well in this season, because a lot of Shounen anime don't get that and I think that's a down aspects for them .. but here in Ao no exorcist they did better ❤️

Series has quite the drama between two brothers but that make it more interesting

Good animation Quality ...y not the best !! But very good 👍🏻

The plot reveal and the suspense was GOAT level 🔥

I think unlike me, people who are watching Ao no exorcist for a long time they will watch it either way. I personally started watching the series ...

Honestly, as BL it would be one of the best. Unfortunately, the BL title is very undeserved.
There is some fan-service and innuendo, at best. Sure, the over all message is that love conquers all. But that's it. Sorry, I grew up on Naruto, and it's the 2020s. You gotta do better than that to call yourself bl. I'd rather be watching thai shows again, if after all these years this is still all anime can offer in terms of queer representation. It is just a small thing, but I would have loved to at least get actual confirmation of their relationship being of a romantic ...

Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi looked pretty promising at first. Even thought he first scene was about the whole gang of sisters making fun of their brother as if he is the typical doormat rom-com protagonist, it quickly turned out that the whole sibling dynamic was actually pretty mature and level-headed. The sisters are making fun of Arata as a "pervert", but are reasonable enough to know that he is actually not that kind of person. The whole setup with the siblings not really being siblings and the resulting relationship shenannigans was quite intriguing.

But as I continued watching this show it turned out that what I initially ...

"Aria the Scarlet Ammo – A Cautionary Tale of Everything Wrong with Anime Tropes"

In Tokyo where students are trained in gun combat and detective work at Butei High School, our “hero” Kinji Tohyama tries to live a quiet life after quitting the Butei elite forces. That is, until he gets roped back in by a sudden attack and is “rescued” by a pink-haired pistol-wielding girl who literally crashes into his life. Enter Aria H. Kanzaki — a small, hot-tempered, gun-slinging tsundere who's supposedly the descendant of Sherlock Holmes.

Sounds like it could be a fun, action-packed school anime, right?

Wrong.

It was... ok.
I think that the greatest achievement of this anime series is definitely the art and its designs; they're beautiful to look at, the detail in every frame of celluloid is astounding. Also kudos for be the series that set the tone for the anime elf archetype design that would become famous in the next years. Deedlit was one of the first elves to be designed with not just pointy ears but very long ears in the anime world. A trait that is still very popular today (cough cough, Frieren, Marcille).
The plot is an overly average medieval/magic/dark fantasy story. Nothing that really pops ...

I know this will be a divisive remark, but I think this show is trying to do something similar to One Punch Man, but with the standard Harem Isekai tropes as well. To that effect, I think that under certain circumstances this show is very high quality and manages to succeed in this endeavor.

I watched this show at 1.5x speed on dub. That being the case, many of the jokes managed to not only land, but occasionally catch me off guard. In particular, the absurdity of some of the scenes, like a belt talking about its grandchildren, in the moment may not seem completely absurd, ...

There are many, many misconceptions about Attack on Titan rampant in online spaces, these misconceptions are generally what fuels the unjust hate on the ending.
And today I'm gonna address them, with (mostly) unbiased look in the story's talking points, and interviews.

1. Eren didn't care for Mikasa until s4. Thefore Eremika is forced.

We first need to know the difference between >YOU< not liking a plot point, and the story not diving into it. You can not like Eremika's story and dynamic, but saying it didn't exist until s4 is ignorance.
For example early in the series, there's this scene where Eren says how much Mikasa should ...

You know, I forget there's so much power in editing when it comes to anime.

“The Apothecary Diaries”. A series I couldn't see myself enjoying too much. A story about old China. An apothecary is trafficked to be sold as a servant to a concubine palace where she wishes not to stick out, but her medical knowledge far exceeds that of everybody else. Her desires to not see anyone dying from preventable problems, make her hiding impossible.

The premise does sound good, but I had an inkling on the presentation.

Clocking in at just over twenty minutes, Plastic Neesan is a girl’s club gag comedy that never deviates from its main premise. Given the run-time, it’s a bit of a no-brainer that its standing as a collection of two minute shorts would be unable to encompass the necessities found within the usual makeup of a narrative. Although shorter stories may try to deliver a profound message, Plastic Neesan is different in this regard solely due to its comedic appeal. Got some time to kill? If so, this may be for you.

Centering around three girls’ plastic modeling club, its facade of the usual club matters wouldn’t ...

Went in expecting some generic slop, instead I was met with a pleasant feels-good romcom. This has nothing which sets it apart from others which actually plays into its effectiveness as it builds on what works. The plot is unique, but it can definitely feel artificial because it's somewhat too convenient and unrealistic, but what is?

The characters set this apart from other romcoms, because even though they can all fit a cookie cutter trope character:
- Jiro, unpopular 'otaku'
- Kamo, loner wingman
- Sakurazaka, childhood first love
- Watanabe, enemies to lovers tsundere
- Minami, ikemen blonde sociable guy

They don't feel like filler, in the sense ...

This show has many problems, the least of which is that it is the exemplar of the sub-genre of fantasy anime I call "The MC is OP but that's because his upbringing was unusual". Some other examples of shows in this category include "Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows" and "Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town". Unlike the former which manages to actually do something fun with the premise and not take itself to seriously, this show instead wants to have the best of both worlds. And I think it fails spectacularly on this front for a ...

Attack on Titan (AOT) – A Gripping Tale of Survival, Humanity, and War

Rating: ★★★★★ (or however many stars you’d give it)

Attack on Titan is more than just an anime—it's an emotional rollercoaster that challenges your views on freedom, morality, and the cost of survival. From the very first episode, it grips you with intense action and high-stakes storytelling, and it never lets go.

Set in a world where humanity is on the brink of extinction due to giant humanoid creatures known as Titans, the story follows Eren Yeager and his friends as they join the fight to reclaim their world. But what starts as a straightforward ...

i would say the quality of this anime is 8/10 subjectively, some choices like the background characters have shadow over their head bother me a little but that's fine. NOW if we're talking about the story there's nothing really special, it's typical but it's fun to follow. However, I don't really like the ending. There's a lot of question in my head when it ends and it doesn't feel like it concludes anything? It still has a lot of mystery but it seems there's not gonna be any continuation. It'll make sense to think of this anime as a promotion to the original source. On ...

Inshura S02 was very much like S01. A new Shura was introduced every episode. The change I enjoyed was that some the previous characters from S01 made an appearance in S02 so you learned more about that character and it gave them more depth. Even the new introduction of characters showed more depth and personality. The plot and progression of the storyline seemed more cohesive and not these random sequence of events all working together to this linear plot that we don't fully understand why or how. More was explained in S02 but it ended very much like S01, what's next? What's next? What will ...

Hmm, after watching the whole damn series, I’ve come to a conclusion: I really enjoyed the show.
I love how the Dragon Emperor turns soft whenever it comes to his wife lmao, he’s so fragile.
The only issue I have is the age gap. I wouldn’t mind if Jill were 14 or 15 years old, since that’s often considered mature in palace settings or historical contexts.
But nope she’s only 10. Shoutout to Jill for having the mindset and maturity of someone older (Iykyk), even though her body still gives off chill-little-girl vibes.
I love how Jill takes action and stands out, and the Dragon Emperor never disappoints me ...

Well, i've missed a good ecchi anime so i've rewatched this first season after all these years, and this is one anime that honestly holds.

As far as isekai go this is a top contender . And im saying this unironically. Never on the level of real masterpieces like Mushoku but it's a real gem in the genre. It's also a ecchi anime that doesn't hold much back, and it's a breath of fresh air compared to most anime that appeared recently. They don't really show anything but they really limbo around that line for the most part. Life is scary. I think we've made death, dying, and the afterlife even more frightening so as to make life seem less scary than it really is. That brings us to the supernatural horror genre, what if living life meant dealing with the dead and afterlife? It's been done a lot, dare I say, it's been to death. So, who better to adapt a manga about such subject matter than the studio who brought us Pokemon? Good ol' OLM. Here comes "Dark Gathering", a show about a trio of youngsters led by the youngest of them all who set out to collect, exorcise, and train ...

If you’re familiar with Uma Musume as a franchise, you might already know that the series doesn’t shy away from tackling more serious themes beneath its cutesy, idol-like surface. The bright and cheerful character designs don’t tell the full story—and I first noticed this back in season 2 of Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
While I’m not here to discuss the earlier entries, I think it’s important to understand that this movie didn’t suddenly emerge with a deep message out of nowhere. Rather, it feels like a natural evolution—diving even deeper into emotional and psychological territory than the franchise has before.

So, what makes this movie feel so ...

I was intrigued enough by the older iterations of Kyousougiga to see what they had come up for this series and wow is it extraordinary. The ambition and scope of the story alone is awe-inspiring, especially considering it's also well executed. I admit that while the first 6 or so episodes initially amused me, I was only somewhat above average in my enjoyment of the show. Then episode seven starts the crescendo, punctuated impressively by Koto's yell, climaxing during the final two episodes. Everything falls into place in episode eight, my favorite episode by far, and the payoff was absolutely immense. ...

I only watched the first episode and the first few minutes of the second, and two scenes were enough to make me give up. I'm 30 years old and, unfortunately, I no longer have the patience to waste time on mediocre productions. If I'm going to invest my time, at the very least the plot or the characters need to win me over — and in this case, neither did.

This show is essentially a comedy slice-of-life Isekai which is not concerned with adventure as much as generic wholesome character interactions. There is some adventure, but do not expect that to be the main appeal of the show. For a reference of another show which is similar in tone, the permise and concept is similar to Kuma-Kuma-Kuma bear, without the bear theme. To this end it is very effective, but it will probably not deliver on the usual OP MC Isekai fair, if that is what you are looking for. The show is much more relaxed and uninterested with genuine high-stakes battles.

A multitude of stories and destinies beautifully vowen together by some pretty heavy and abstract themes. Believing what you do is right, believing it will amount to something, even if you know you will be long gone before it leads anywhere... Does it all mean anything in the end? There is no other anime that better represents both the beauty and futility in fighting for your convictions, or even having convictions at all. The limitations are endless, but so are the possibilities. Everything is connected, and everything falls apart.

The second season of Diary of a Pharmacist continues to impress with its heartfelt storytelling and character development. Maomao remains the perfect protagonist — intelligent, caring, and refreshingly real. The show balances the daily challenges of pharmacy life with emotional moments and subtle humor, making it both educational and engaging. The pacing is smooth, and the interactions between characters feel natural, adding depth to the narrative.

Compared to the first season, the second expands on Maomao’s personal growth and her relationships, which keeps the story fresh and interesting. Alongside Frieren, who also remains one of the best female characters in recent anime, Maomao shines as a ...

This anime reaches into the depths of a fantasy.

Here are a bunch of characters (people) who presumably live monotonous lower middle class lives, and they're all happy. Everyone supports and respects each other. This anime touches upon the fantasy of giving up busy, complex, isolated life for a simpler and supportive environment. It takes a unparalleled level of sublimity to smile to the 10,000th customer. "look how life can be if you choose to be happy; for yourself, and for those around you".

Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

This isn't a typical romance anime, but not being typical doesn't automatically makes it better. Although the anime comes under the genre of "romance", I initially found it to be the most boring plot of the show. By boring I don't mean it is exactly poorly-written; however, the whole thing seemed to be run by lust. Personally not my taste. For Yukira, the motivation is lust as well as a certain "obsession" with George, this puts a great power imbalance between the couple, rendering the relationship toxic. It's all, somehow, including the Jack the Ripper part, the James Bond part, and the Dark Knight part. I totally didn't understand why and how the MP fell for Moriarty's trap, and even idolized him. I think the first thing you need to know is that there’s A LOT of CONTENT in every single section possible. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a rare kind of anime—quietly profound, emotionally resonant, and unafraid to embrace stillness in a medium often defined by fast-paced spectacle. Adapted from the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, the anime explores a world after the grand adventure, offering a beautifully melancholic meditation on grief, time, and human connection.

A Story About What Comes After
Instead of telling a traditional “defeat the demon king” narrative, Frieren begins after that story has ended. The legendary party disbands, and Frieren, the elf mage who barely ages, sets off on her own again—until decades later, when the death of a companion shakes her. ...

The premise of the plot could be worse, with an excellent manhwa template. We certainly wouldn't have gotten a second Solo Leveling here, but we also shouldn't have gotten such substandard content.

They cut corners left, right and centre here. Instead of showing us the plot, they rely on character exposition while we're really just watching a PowerPoint presentation with moving mouths.

The graphic style isn't bad, but the animation is even worse. It looks like they released the raw version of the anime that still needs to be animated.

The writing honestly felt very chaotic at first. Mizuho being an alien sounded so strange, then Kei’s illness ??
