Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken or The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten was an anime I wasn't that big a fan of at first, actually that's putting it too simple, I thought it was little bit boring and bland though not a bad watch and still gave it a 7/10 and moved on since I figured that it just wasn't to my tastes since people seemed to like it. Here I am, 2 years later I re watched it and decided it needs a review because I think I misjudged this show my first time watching it and better ...

I usually don’t recommend anime, and to be honest, this is the first one that made me want to write a review—mainly because of the rating it’s been getting.

At first, I thought the low score was because of manga purists, since people often get triggered when an anime strays even a bit from the original manga. But no—it turns out a lot of the complaints are about the main character having multiple women.

Now, let me say: I also found that part unnecessary and even unrealistic. Some of the characters just wouldn’t be interested in a relationship with him given their backgrounds and personalities. Still, beyond ...

The visuals are very good.

I’ve already summarized my general thoughts before, but allow me to add a few things.
The story is vague—or rather, shallow. There’s nothing particularly deep to absorb beyond a relationship that never really comes to fruition. Even though the ending implies that the two end up together, and if I’m not mistaken, in Tenki no Ko (Weathering With You), Taki and Mitsuha are both living in Tokyo, so it’s only a matter of time until they meet again.

As with all of Makoto Shinkai’s films, a number of random, nonsensical things happen—and clearly, that’s the “point,” since the movie is rated +13, so ...

Frieren is a really good anime, but it is miles away from top tier ones such as fmab or aot. I cannot understand why it now has the number one spot, it does not deserve it at all.
The story has potencial, but sometimes it can get a little bit boring due to its slow pacing. Nonetheless, the fights are usually epic and the animation is sublime.
As said, it is a nice pick, though it is not even close in terms of story and character development to mythical animes like the ones i have already mentioned.
I would be great if frieren fans stopped downvoting masterpieces, because ...

WTF Goro? This is some kiddy shit. Almost nothing ever happens stretched out as much as possible by having characters move around spamming a bunch of emotes like "HAHAHAHAHA!"x50 and "AAAAAAAAAH!"x50 for no goddamn reason as Goro stops the anime to insist that you watch his masturbatory indulgence in... a lake... and... a river... and... a tree... and... a squirrel... and... on and on and on while the MC spams more and more unprompted emotes the entire time... Worst of all is that it's the most artificial depiction of humanity imaginable, completely devoid of any sincerity whatsoever.
I feel like I'm watching Goro throw his hands ...

I'm all for anime that doesn't have anything in particular going on so long as it's entertaining. This wasn't it. I have nothing against Management of a Novice Alchemist but I find this anime really really boring. My rule of thumb with an anime is to give it at least 6 episodes to decide if I like it or not unless the anime is that abhorrent to the point I cannot continue with it. This is one of those animes that whilst I didn't find anything wrong with it, I just can't continue this show.

During episode 1 I thought it was ok and the story ...
Lazarus (Anime) add (All reviews)

Preliminary (13/13 eps)
Watching this anime makes me feel like it was directed by a master craftsman working with dulled tools.

Lazarus has a simple premise that has immense potential: humanity's universal painkiller becomes a doomsday clock. Despite this, the anime fails to provide the philosophical weight in favor of stylized entertainment. The result isn't as offensive as others like to claim, but something arguably worse: a competent load of nothing.

Dr. Skinner's miracle drug Hapna eliminates all human pain, only for its creator to announce three years later that everyone who took it will die within 30 days. A five-person task force of convicts and misfits dubbed "Lazarus" must ...

Even after 11 episodes, I’m not entirely sure what to think about this anime. It’s refreshing but also confusing, interesting yet strange. The art style is well chosen and fits the tone of the story, which definitely has more depth than 90% of currently airing shows—but something still feels a bit off.

I’m hoping the series delivers a great story with a satisfying and meaningful ending, because the potential is definitely there.

Overall, if you’re looking for something different and more thoughtful than the usual throwaway seasonal shows, this anime might be it. But even after 11 episodes, it’s hard to tell exactly where we’re headed.

This anime promotes the worst possible values—betraying anyone you love just for sex and only thinking about that (no jk, the whole anime is about the MC talking about how he wants to lose his virginity). The main character doesn’t love anyone; he just wants to sleep with them or get something from others. He’s not your typical idealistic protagonist like you’d find in standard shonen series like One Piece or Naruto. It’s like they tried to copy the usual "kind-hearted protagonist" formula but completely failed. The writer or mangaka clearly lacks experience in character development. Everything seems to be written for convenience, with no ...

Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi is a weird show to review, because this was unironically one of my favorites this season in the beginning. An anime that disguises itself as a CGDCT that essentially kills all the cute girls right after they're introduced is a fun gag...until it's not. Don't get me wrong, I get that it's a joke and the gag of most of the episodes; ninja pursuer with a surprising detailed design shows up > threatens Konoha and Satoko > Konoha kills them not even a minute later, but at the same time it becomes boring and predictable after a while and ...

I'm so wondering about this anime.

It's so comedy and talentless 3 minutes in any understandable story talks about little girls pushes in someone's home and say we were sending by your father !
The characters was really bad
Plot never mind
The story was like trash but.
Some Eiichi was there ! And I feel some Pedophile formers about characters here really bad .
The best thing here is the Comedy so cute and sweet and endings with Bomb bomb I like it.
After all this really I get funny of this and laugh more moreover can you imagine

I expected more but it ticked a lot of boxes for what I like so it is rated 7-8.

Animation: 9
Enjoyment: 8
Amazing. I really enjoyed action scenes and fights were quite cool.
Characters: 4
Terrible execution. Unfortunately they had few characters that they could have made very interesting but they failed to do that and focused everything only on Sung Jinwoo.
Sung as a characters is quite interesting morally grey guy who starts as quiet and beaten down weakest hunter ever, to become the strongest hunter(classic shouned stuff) but done differently since we follow darker character who is kind of motivated by selfishness( which I don't ...

If you're a fan of TBATE, ignore the existence of this aberration; otherwise, decide if you want to watch yet another generic anime with no animation budget.

Static and crude animation, choices of scenes for less animation, bad adaptation, in short, a mediocre PowerPoint. It lacked a 3D to complete the combo... no... wait...

A great wasted opportunity, but I hope some AI in the future can do a better job. I haven't had this feeling since Nanatsu no Taizai. The rest of the review would just be hatred for the studio and those responsible for the sabotage, so let's avoid it.

This is what I'd call the sleeper anime of the season. I found it by accident and watched the first episode mainly because of the title. Ever seen "Planetarium"? Same vibe. Except Earth is 100% devoid of animal life. Just plants and robots, and gradually, aliens. The owner of the Gingaro Hotel left his robot staff with one basic set of commands, basically a 10 commandments of hotel hospitality. This is a heart-string tugging, laugh out loud, yell at the screen series. If you've ever lost someone dear to you, you'll be crying at a couple of episodes because they handle it perfectly. But you'll ...

Just completed it and it's 100% "meh." I needed something to fill in the gaps to do my "watch two different anime...." every day. That's 14 a week. So this was not in my top 5 or bottom 5. Right in the middle, and that's where it deserved to be. No "I wish there will be a season 2" as one season was enough. Animation was average at best, voice acting was good, but the plot was 100% cookie cutter and a clone of a dozen other "unaware that they are OP" protagonist series. You know the ones - everything the hero of the ...

Just another typical anime with a bland overpowered cookie cutter hero, who is completely unaware about his actual might. We see him during his journeys and how he's acquiring the much needed harem on the way, plus some other support characters.

He's also confusing always situations, where he played the pivotal role, thinking the others are great and giving them credit for the stuff he did. And of course none of his harem/extended family members bothers to tell him otherwise. Ever.

Character design is rather basic as well, and animation are poor. At least it is fantasy, and no isekai.

Only watch when you are ...

Are you someone who wants to enjoy worldbuilding and detective plots with a focus on historical relationships and hierarchies from the lens of those not on the battleground? (Oh, and some information on herbs I suppose). If your answer to that very specific question is yes, and you don't mind an overarching romance plot, this will absolutely be the anime for you!

Story: very fun, and a great warmup to the series. You're introduced to characters gradually and the more you pay attention, the more detail you can gather when you watch the episodes. If you want high-level difficult plots and schemes to solve, you won't ...

Black Clover – More Than Just Another “Naruto”

I went into Black Clover expecting it to be another Naruto clone, but it really isn’t. Sure, Asta has that loud, never-give-up energy like Naruto, but beyond that, the show stands on its own and builds something different.

The world of Black Clover is full of magic, lore, and mystery. The concept of grimoires and different types of magic makes the fights creative and intense. Asta’s five-leaf clover grimoire, surrounded by mystery and darkness, adds a cool twist early on. The Eye of the Midnight Sun arc is a major highlight, with strong buildup, surprising twists, and the shocking ...

While people may complain about the overall pacing of this adaptation I think this movie is incredibly well done for the amount of time it had. I think it might have been better in anime format with a season or two but I feel like we would have lost a LOT of the quality that made this movie so beautiful. The colors were vibrant, the emotion in both dub and sub were raw, and the struggle is real. so overall while you might not like the pacing of it, the story still stands on its own two feet with a supernatural, psychological & romantic twist ...

This is my attempt on a fair review for this anime as it really doesn't deserve 5, it's certainly better than this.

Listen this is not a great anime, by any means, but I mean, 5.2? People are just really complaining about how inferior to the source material it is, and it's fair to complain, but also you should give it a fair rating not just trash it because you personally felt attacked by it. And there's no way this anime is worse than Faraway Paladin so at least around a 6.5 it should be.

Coming to the actual rating, animation is really not great but also ...

This anime isn’t your typical romance story. Instead of idealizing love, it explores the harsh realities that can unfold in a relationship, showing that not everything is beautiful or perfect when feelings are involved. It raises an important question: Is love alone enough to sustain a relationship, or is there something more?

Honestly, it hits close to home and reflects the darker sides of modern relationships and human behavior. The story is simple on the surface, but its development keeps you engaged. While some parts are predictable, the ending was unexpected, though I didn’t find it entirely satisfying, it still felt appropriate for the story.

In short, ...

One Piece Review – The Treasure of Storytelling

In the vast ocean of anime, One Piece stands tall like a lighthouse—an enduring symbol of storytelling brilliance, thematic depth, and sheer narrative ambition. Created by Eiichiro Oda and first serialized in 1997, One Piece is not just a story about pirates; it’s a tale of dreams, freedom, found family, sacrifice, and unbreakable will. With over 1,000 episodes and counting, and a manga that's entered the final saga, One Piece is a cultural juggernaut that continues to shape generations of fans across the world.

Chainsaw Man is the craziest anime I’ve ever seen—undoubtedly a golden piece of work.

With its unique storytelling, insane animation by MAPPA, a banging opening theme, and 12 stunning ending themes, Chainsaw Man stands out as one of the most unique anime of all time. Score: 10/10
Review:
Gintama is a masterpiece that deserves its place at the pinnacle of anime. Created by Hideaki Sorachi, this series (and its multiple seasons, OVAs, and films) is a genre-defying rollercoaster that blends gut-busting comedy, heart-pounding action, and tear-jerking drama in a way no other anime can match. After watching all 367 episodes, Gintama: The Final movie, and revisiting arcs like Benizakura and Silver Soul, I can confidently say this is the most rewatchable, versatile, and emotionally resonant anime I’ve ever experienced.Story (9/10): Gintama’s premise—an alternate Edo Japan invaded by aliens, centered on the slacker samurai ...

The Unaware Atelier Meister — When the show literally spoils the plot for you right in the title itself...just forget that the tried-and-true trope of long titles exists, yes?

In the current landscape of the AniManga industry, at least for the post-COVID season, there has been a landmark change in how the medium itself has been juxtaposed by bringing in new fans...which I'd rather term as literate brainrot fake "fans" who know no better about what anime used to be before it became the mainstream thing, to shit on people who have better intelligence and spoil the fun. Such is the case for the LN author ...

The animation in this one is on the impressive side. Everything else, meh.

In a world where magic powers awakened in a segment of the population -hunters- while, at the same time, magic portals filled with monsters that must be cleared before they pose a threat to humanity started to appear, we follow our protagonist who awakened to be "the weakest hunter of all mankind". These powers cannot be improved in any way. However, for unknown reasons, something changed for our protagonist and now he's the only character that we know of that can become more powerful over time.

We are told that the protagonist's mother is ...

I think this anime was solid and was an interesting mystery anime. I would have given 8 if they didn't mess up their animation that terribly. This is a mystery anime and doesn't require high-quality animation but they have to put some effort into drawing. The character looked like some amateur artist drew. The animation was so bad I had a hard time focusing on the actual story and mystery. This anime was cool by mixing medical science and murder mystery and I would recommend it for people who like mystery. But this poor-quality animation gets to a point where you can't focus. What if Dr. House and Sherlock Holmes had a love child, and that child grew up diagnosing rare diseases in Japan while simultaneously uncovering criminals?
Welcome to the over-the-top, doctor-by-day, detective-by-night world of Ameku Takao no Surui Karute, where medical drama meets Scooby-Doo.

The show absolutely delivers what it promises: wild, unpronounceable diseases diagnosed on gut instinct by a small, yappy doctor with a slight god complex — and diagnostic methods that range somewhere between actual medicine and anime-tier clairvoyance. Half the time you’re not sure if you’re watching a hospital drama or a supernatural mystery.

How nice to watch an anime where the protagonist actually have to progress and grow in order to defeat his enemies, while also having to rely on his companions help!

After watching too many Isekais this show is a breath of fresh air while also being a tribute to old school animes and storytelling.

Both style and look created by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and more is a welcome change of scene, and I’ve been hooked since episode 1!

TLDR Without being too spoilery, the girl is disgustingly toxic trying to gate keep the guy from either going into any relations with other girls or being anything than "best friend" with her, some other pathetic loser called people virgin in the comments for pointing this out which is an obvious butthurt, so iam not sure what they are on about.

Story is somewhat unique way of a slice of life
art is generic
i would say the male character is the flawed one just because he lets his life gets ruined by the female, and the fact that she kinda runs the show

I loved this so much. I think it's because it focused on family but also some detective stories at the same time. I was genuinely so sad when I finished the 2 seasons... I can't wait until the next one comes out though. I loved the bounds that each characters created between each other, as people who used to struggle with that, they are like 3 outcasts who met and formed a family. It made me feel sad about my family at this point lmfao. I think people will like it even if they don't want animes in general. The story was not that predictable, ...

I am truly baffled at the above average rating this show received. It's absolutely atrocious. I watched Eat-Man '98 many years ago and remember enjoying it well enough. Expecting a similar experience from this was clearly a mistake. Thankfully it is only 12 episodes and the pure disbelief of how bad each and every episode was stunned me long enough to finish it. The writing and directing seem to be the primary offenders of what make it so awful. You can pretty much bet on every episode having a segment of 30+ seconds of Bolt and another random character ...

The story is shallow and often illogical. The main character is excellent at everything he does, yet his party doesn't appreciate him. He leaves his party for a D-rank group full of cute girls who are all conveniently into him. From there, he just becomes a hero wherever he goes with zero real struggle.

The world-building is basically non-existent. It’s hard to experience a world that doesn’t feel like it exists in the first place. Everything feels surface-level and generic. The art style falls into the typical "kawaii fantasy" category—cute and colorful, but nothing special for a romance-fantasy anime nowadays.
